So, I missed the Doku Texture pack from way back when in Alpha... and I loved some of the textures of the painterly, but hated others... And thus, the Doku Painterly Pack was born. Features of Texture Pack:
- Huge Part of the Doku RPG Texture Pack
- Huge Part of the Painterly Texture Pack (To cover missing items from Doku's)
- Stone is replaced with Doku's Cobble Texture
- All ores except coal are replaced from Doku's over the Painterly
- This is a 256x256 scaled Texture Pack, NO HD Patching Needed!
- Works with Beta 1.2 and (Presumably) Beta 1.3
- Much, much more!
I hope you enjoy this texture pack as much as I do, and I hope that it works for those of you who have updated to Beta 1.3 (I have yet to do so because of broken SMP for Single Core Processors, I play on my friends Private Hamachi 1.2 Beta Server he still runs :biggrin.gif:)
[EDIT] I forgot to mention, the glitch seen in the video where you can see through the snow has been FIXED! On accident when cutting and pasting I cut the snow texture too low, so you could see through the very top of the dirt and under the snow resting on top.
Er..quite nice, but this has been done before. 3 or 4 times in fact. Check the link in my sig. Still, its nice!
Yes, I figured it had probably been done however I felt like contributing to the community because I'd used several texture packs in the past but never provided one, and this one has some things switched around that you wouldn't think. Such as the Doku boxes and such as well as Stone being the Doku Cobble and cobble being the Painterly Cobble (I think it looks better personally)
