All you mac users out there, how do you get your texture packs to work?? I have downloaded the mac version for a texture pack, but when I put it into the same folder as my minecraft app, I can still only use the default texture pack. How can I get it to work??
Oh, i had very many problems with that too, before i found out the following, ill put it into a step-by-step instruction :biggrin.gif:
1. Download the TexPack you want
2. Safari auto-unarchives the zip or rar file, you have to recompress it for it to really work, but not by just compressing the enclosing folder, NO, you HAVE to go to the layer of the terrain.png and all the folders (gui, misc, etc.)
3. Rename the Archive.zip to the TexPack's name, or whatever you wanna call it.
4. Copy the newly created zip file
5. Go to [your name]>Library>Application Support>minecraft>texturepacks and paste the archive in there.
6. When you open up your minecraft, you go to "mods and texture packs", then select it and voilà! There you go! :biggrin.gif:
