Fantastic Food!
I decided to take an interesting turn with food.
Instead of pigs dropping porkchops, they are now greedy yellow pigs that hoard all the garlic in the land.
Instead of fishing for fish, (What a crazy concept! :ohmy.gif:) you now catch shrimp which is totally better.
Also, combining two mushrooms inexplicably produces a bowl of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. Go figure.
Now that's the stuff!
Tremendous Tools!
I always thought it was weird how every weapon has to be a sword. Do you know how hard it would be to properly chisel down a piece of rock into a sword shape and still have it work as a sword instead of shattering? It's far easier to just tie that mutha to the end of a stick and beat your foes into submission.
Marvelous Miscellaneous!
All sorts of other wacky sprites are hidden deep, deep within the items list. Like prepackaged CreeperCo brand gun powder! Or colored crystals, just waiting to be applied to sheep's wool!
Decorative Decorations!
Some paintings in this pack look like silly things like facial features or signs. (As such, the icon for paintings is a nose with a mustache.) These can be used for building marvelous statues of Roosters, or pizza delivery men or... lipstick-wearing John Linnell?
Most of the non artwork paintings are only good for facial features, but some look great as decorations on buildings!
And now, some other screen shots!
(By the way, those Japanese characters say "Unusual Text" to gain your attention, and it apparently worked! :biggrin.gif:)
Planned changes:
Currently, chickens look like robotic clockwork chickens, but it worked best on paper, so I plan to change this.
Armor also needs an overhaul. Most of it won't look like tradition armor, though. Like for instance, gold helmets will look like red and cyan 3D glasses!
Most other mobs need some work as well. The only thing I changed on some of them was the color, but I plan for them to be totally different. Like, I'm planning on making zombies look like sea creatures (think monster from the black lagoon). What do you think?
Also, I plan to have actual pumpkins eventually. The watermelons are just a placeholder.
The download is messed up.. the download image links to itself for some reason.
Oh, my! Huge oversight on my part. Thanks for pointing it out! Also, almost done finding all the mobs for that picture. In the meantime, my castle is ready!
Yay! That's my server! BTW, awesome job on finishing the pack, Leiden! Been looking forward to it for a good while now. Also, is that my cobble texture I did for Spyke? Just curious, it looks like it. Anyway, great job! :happy.gif:
Downloading!
And to anyone reading this, if you're smart and snazzy, you'll download this too!
Are you using some sort of patcher to use the pack? I haven't tested it with those.
The intended way to use this is copying the zip into the textures folder found in the mods and textures menu.
Yes. They are blotted out in the picture because they are a surprise, I guess.
Also, as soon as I have some good ideas on what to make them. I want to avoid making them look like actual armor, so if you have and good ideas, I'd love to hear them!
Looks very nice! But that garlic!
Its from Super Mario 2 isn't it?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack

That shrimp sprite is very cute.
Could you post some pictures of the mobs? pigs, sheep, creepers, etc.

my castle is ready!
I was sort of stuck making the fur for cows, so I just made them blue and had a white strirpe going around their backs.
Yellow pigs lookin' suave in their cools shades, as always.
Skeletons are now made entirely of GOLD!... Fool's gold, that is. The only redeeming value their bones have are a makeshift fertilizer.
Sheep are always so jaded, don't you think? Wearing their abercrombie and sheep to fit in.
Spiders are now radioactive beasts who glow in the dark!
Nothing much to say on Zombie's. I just inverted the colors because I didn't draw the real sprite yet.
As you can see, the clockwork chicken idea didn't really pan out...
And the Creeper. What can you say?
