Hey guys, I looked through ALOT of pages on the texture pack thread. I could not find ONE Dragon Ball Z texture pack. I was wondering if someone could make one for like Planet Namek or something please? It would be really cool but i do not have the skill or the tools to create a texture pack.
download gimp or paint.net (both free) you'd be surprised what you can do with a little searching on google for tutorials
Edit: get gimp, find pics of what you want each block to look like, re size/cut/etc. then use the make seamless filter to make a decent texture...easy as hell
Edit Edit: really trying to be helpful, as it's good to see someone with an idea that I have not seen done before. I used to be a huge DBZ fan and would like to see one as well. Take up the project. Really. There are a lot of people on this forum willing to answer serious questions and help you out with sound advice.
Other than that, it'd be a simple matter of changing the leaves/foliage to blue, changing the water to green, and replacing the plants with Namekian plantlife.
In fact, I can probably whip this up (save for the tree mod) in a few minutes. I think I might.

well i was thinking of this but i couldn't decide between a starcraft or a dbz texture but i saw now that a starcraft one is in the works. so i will try my best but im not too good but it will be 16x16 because i Hate working with large textures and patching and unpatching constantly. also i'll make a few like dying namek, namek, otherworld,underworld and a more earth related pack. and i will make diamond armor look like frieza The purple parts in final form
iron armoe would be saiyan armor
gold would be trunks (mah fav :happy.gif: )
and i could make gold helm look like supa sayain hair.
I bin Working on a Texture Pack that is all DBZ........ Like Gold Apples are Senzu Beans, the Pumpkins are square Dragon Balls. My diamond Armor is Super Saiyan Great Ape and Iorn Armor is Super Saiyan Trunks. Still Some bugs But working them out When I get time.
Isnt there a Dragon ball z pack out yet cuz i had one and i had alot of dragon ball /z/gt stuff in minecraft but then everything got erased ...so do any of you have a dragon ball z texturepack cuz im a huge fan
If any of you other Dragon ball z fans would like to help me or see the outcome, im making a HUGE mod called Dragon Craft Z, it has will have 3 planets from the series as others like the nether is. it will have an extremely fast paced combat system and the attacks have been coded and are being kept secret for now because of the code beening so revolutionary as to how instead of a invisible explosion they are massive orange/yellow domes of flames that expand outward at massive speed. before turning into a large smoke cloud.

Curse Premiumif you are going to do it...don't just do a recolor of the original textures... thats just lame
I never claimed I was an artist. I just hue-changed some stuff to look closer to Namek's color scheme.
