After seeing this I went through and deleted all other texture packs on my hd INCLUDING MY OWN WIP, except for the gerudoku fan edit of your RPG pack (until this is released,) and I am now content.
With what your pictures show this pack achieves the look I was trying to achieve with my pack quite nicely. I dislike using photo-realistic packs like Misa's, and I can't stand using simple packs (which are a dime a dozen, and take little time to actually make.) Realistic, yet still cartoony packs like this are surprisingly rare and rarely of quality equal to this or your previous pack. I can see myself using this for a long time.
I love the way the wood looks with the cobblestone in this pack as well. It really goes nicely. I'll probably replace the yellow wool when I use it with the wood and remove the poles on the side for use as flooring just so I can keep this effect and still get all of the looks I want.
So good to see you back in action. I was beginning to think that you were a ghost and that I'd only see new doku material in the form of the myriad fan packs. What you have done looks gorgeous, and I really love the illusion of depth created by inlaying some of the stones, bricks and planks with shading. Stylish.
Ah! The legend returns :-) I'm glad to have a chance to meet you at last. I only ever started to work on my own pack, because your's wasn't in native resolution and I got tired of re-patching my game with it after every update.
Your new textures look very good but I see very little variation from your old ones. The tree planks seem to have the exact same color and very similar texture. Maybe it would be a good time to experiment with something new?
I love your sandstone texture, though. And that's new, obviously :-)
Your return is another good reason for Mojang to give Minecraft 32x32px texture pack support.
