Great Idea for a TexturePack.
Here come an inspirational parasite picdump. hope it helps, I really dig this theme.
Don't forget to read my further ideas at the bottom of this post.
I think this one looks suitable for the pig.
Grass/Dirt-Block? Hellstone-Texture? You have to get this fella in there!
Further Ideas:
Since it's all about parasites, all the 'ground'-blocks (dirt/sand/water/gravel/etc) are actually the surface of the 'host' - so it's basically skin and the trees are hair. The water would be sweat then I guess. (urgh). Use the biomes to make it appear like different areas of the body of the host.
Now it gets freaky:
Guess what the Neher would be. It actually the INSIDE OF THE HOSTS BODY! It's red and full of veins and arterys. The Lava becomes the blood, and here we find all the parasites that actually live inside their hosts body (mostly worms & grubs).
It's gonna be parasite heaven.
I'll come up with more stuff eventually. Tell me what you think
Damn it! I was eating when I saw these and now I lost my appetite!
Sorry for being so lazy... I'll get them the next day; So; sorry to keep you waiting.
NOTE: I was half asleep when I wrote this, the only thing you need to know is that I'll get it in tomorrow.
Lots of creepy-licious imagery and disgusting trivia. Guess as far as my favorite parasite goes it's either the worms that infect the eyestalks of snails or cordyceps that transform insects into zombies that explode into fungal clusters.

this all sounds really exciting.
I like the concept of living on one big organism.
that would be soo cool to dig down and see the different layers of skin. And caves are arteries and such.
I feel like you could also make a custom map where you have to dig down and save the creature from dying by fighting disease out of the arteries, maybe even adding a heart underground or some organs.
Ooh; Disease fighting? I like the way you think! If I have enough time to *Cough* Waste *Cough* then I'll work on it; but first I need to finish the rest of the Texture pack. Mobs should be next.
If you haven't thought of an idea for creepers or zombies, I have a nasty one that I was going to use for my own texture pack, but I think it suits your pack far better
Certain parasites are quite insidious, seeming benign at first, but slowly infecting their hosts and changing their behavior. A host may not even realize they're infected, but all too late do the first changes take place; worms, mold, microscopic disease, swarming insects, whatever it is, makes itself known as it not only alters it's host physically, but mentally causes it to seek out any sustenance it can. The ravenous hunger isn't just to sate the parasite and it's hosts needs though, as excess energy serves a second purpose.
At the final stage of the transformation, unnecessary organs like the limbs slough off, the host becoming more parasite then creature at this point. It is only now that the parasite seeks to end it's barely conscious host's suffering as it seeks to burst forth with it's offspring, desiring only to start the process anew with another unwitting victim.
(Basically zombies are the beginning of the infection, and creepers are the final reproductive phase)
