I know this might sound stupid, but I liked the alpha look of minecraft more than the beta one? Anyone wanna make me an alpha texture pack?? I would be very grateful
What changed when Minecraft went Beta? The only aesthetic changes were the addition of new blocks, and the smooth lighting update, which can be turned off. At least, as far as I know.

Oh, sorry, didnt know ( heh as you can see im a little dumb), I meant like the classic version of minecraft
..Minecraft has used the same textures throughout. Ever since Classic, Survival Test, Indev, Infdev, Alpha and Beta. There's just more on the Beta terrain.png than the Classic terrain.png

As you can see, there's just more stuff in Beta.
But the texture also looks a bit different, and thats what im looking for. Minecraft beta does not look the same as minecraft alpha
But the textures are IDENTICAL, minus the beds and the repeaters. If you're talking about Minecraft Alpha. But it's hard to keep up when it constantly switches between Classic & Alpha. You're not making much sense.

In Alpha the grass and leaves never changed color. It was upbeat and a very light green. If you watch a video from Alpha and one from Beta you can see the difference.
