Since I make so many food textures I might as well try my hand at making a full fledged texture pack.
I'm not really used to this so give me a tiny break, I will definitely redo some of the textures.
This is a pre-pre-pre-pre-pre view of it. I only want some opinions right now of the current grass, tree bark, smoothstone/iron & Sand. And I will go from there and update this thread fast. Hope you enjoy.
Great texture pack! I hate it when good ones like these don't get comments. I'm loving the grass and dirt but the tree texture doesn't seem to be flowing very much.
Apart from that, great work!

That's the thing with this website. Either they love you or they spit you out with nothing lol. The trees were very bad in my opinion too. I will totally redo them. And i'm glad you like the grass, I felt like I nailed that one pretty good.
Thank you very much for your input, i'm glad you just didn't say it sucked or something like that. Constructive criticism will keep me going.
Any more input is welcome, don't feel like you cant just put your 2 cents in and leave. I just want to know what you guys think.
I like the side grass. As for the top of the grass, I would probably tone down the darkest spots just a little.
The dirt has nice colors, but there's darker lines running down the edges. This will cause obvious banding when it's tiled on a bigger surface.
The patterns on the smooth stone seem nice, but they are concentrated in the middle of the tile. Again, this will cause tiling issues on larger surfaces.
With the iron ore, I would put more shading around it, so the chunks look more embedded into the stone.
The sand looks very similar to the default to me. Maybe you can make the shadows slightly more reddish, it will go nicer with your dirt color, I think.

I agree with the top of the grass; it does need a fix. Along with the smooth stone. After you mentioned it, it is concentrated in the center.
And the iron ore was a test, but you are right it does need to put off a "embedded" feel. As for the sand I basically just toned it down and made it a little darker, gave it more darker colors. But I will definitely try your suggestion.
