When I said bringing it to the attention of people who can act on it, I was more referring to directly poking some of the moderator staff to see what they can do.

That said, I have edited the title to make it a little more attention grabbing. Who knows, we may get lucky and I won't have to pull out the cattle prod after all.

I do too. I think this an excellent proposal, and a very simple, efficient way to make this subforum infinitely more navigable. I'll be sure to format my own pack according to this when I release it. Thank you.

I feel bad for posting without adding anything in particular, but the whole idea seems solid and I can't find any problems with it. I may be newly registered, but I give all my support to this idea, whatever that counts for. :smile.gif:

Just thought I'd let people know I haven't forgotten about this. It is just with the locking of search, the picking of new moderators, and the fact that they are working on making new forum software that I figure it's better to wait for all the dust from that to settle before trying to push something that's going to mean more work for the already spread thin mods.

If people want to adopt this on their own, great, but I'm not going to be pushing the mod staff to make it official till we at least get the new mods picked out and on board.

Here is hoping the new stuff they are working on makes this whole issue moot and provides us with built in ways of organizing things like mods and texture packs.
