Alright, basically updated, It was a quick job basically getting textures from the alternates sheep provided.
Jungle Tree's don't look too fancy yet, but they are in and are atleast distinguishable:
Glowstone Lanterns:
I forgot to do spawnerEggs, will get to that later:
The 3 different colored woodplanks, are all the default color. (Would have looked like crap if I tried to change the color)
Ocelots have default texture, so do villagers and iron golems.
I haven't gone over the items.png yet, so some items could be missing.
(I'll try get in contact with Sheep, and see what he is up to.)
Alrighty, first off, hi guys!
Sorry I've been away so long, just moved house, it's my final year of school so I've had a lot of work and not much time!
Anyways, you might be wondering what those four links are. Well, it's not an update for this pack up to the latest version, in fact it mightn't be an update at all, but they are all the packs I was working on before I left for ages, even ones that I never released. (AKA 3 of those packs I linked up there)
These packs are in no way complete, might contain other peoples textures for testing (although hopefully not, if there are then I'll have to remove them and I haven't checked these packs for at least a couple of months), and they definitely won't contain all the new textures. I just wanted to upload these so you guys can see what I've worked on, where my new style was going and the improvements I've made in texturing. Plus I'm sure you guys can splice together a working texture pack with all these files here!
Hokay, so for those who want to see what each pack looks like, here's a little preview:
Pixel Perfection - Default:
This is what I was turning the default version of this pack into, then I realised the style was too different so I started work on a new series of packs; Pixel Perfection. Everything was done with just the pencil tool with each variant of this pack and each variant had a much more unique style than the ones in this pack (XSSheep's pack).
Pixel Perfection - RPG:
This was the pack I was working on for Feathers' 5 colour challenge a while back, All blocks use no more than 5 colours in this pack apart from some special blocks that were allowed to as by her rules such as beds (wood and the cloth colours) or furnaces (fire and the cobblestone), etc. It was influenced by many people, one being Doku's first TP, obviously.
Pixel Perfection - Simple:
Random experiment taking a sort of Frenden's style of things. First try at an interesting and not just 'another' simple texture pack. Very bright and vivid, it's actually what the 'vivid' variant turned into as well before I realised the textures were just too different from the old ones!
XSSheep's pack: default variant:
This is just a slight update to the default variant. I was trying to give it more depth, texture and character while still keeping the same feel. I never finished updating it... (as you can probably tell)
Ok, well, that's all for now guys, I'll try be more consistent with my visits to the forums now but I'll probably not be able to even attempt texturing something again for a while. I just have too much work. I'll stick around the forums and post as much as I can, answering questions or whatever but yea, all depends on how much work I DON'T have...
Hope you liked that little 'update' of sorts, please enjoy and FEEL FREE TO USE THESE TEXTURES IN ANY OF YOUR PACKS, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ASKING ME. Also, whoever feels like updating can go ahead, I'll write what page the full update is on in the title should you get that far!
Btw, big thanks to everyone who is STILL supporting this after all this time, it really means a lot! Big thanks to whoever attempted to update this monster of a pack too. (yes xNightmare, I'm looking at you!)
- XSSheep, (sorry for the big ass post!)PS, could someone please tell me how to edit the title now? I dunno how since the forums have changed...
I was going to comment a detailed reply to my "nitpicky" opinions on all of the packs, and
was going to compile my favorite textures of each one, but I decided not to.
It's simply nice to see you back Sheep! Glad to see all's well, or will turn out alright. Everything looks
fantastic. You've progressed as an artist so well and your work looks stunning.
yay!!! ill get the default varient and try to finish its update (even though i dont know if its full to now or not) and i havent ever done a tex pack before but im a good drawer >_> lol thanks for this sheep! gonna try em all
Well I just had a massive test for maths methods today, pretty stressful!
Thanks for all the comments guys, glad you like the textures!
<3 from me here in Aus!
PS, I think I might buy Diablo for some stress relief... Hehehe... Still need to leave some time for texturing and homework though! Also, which pack out of those 4 I posted would you all rather see updated first?
PS, could someone please tell me how to edit the title now? I dunno how since the forums have changed...
On your first post it should say edit on the bottom. Click on that. Then click full editor (if it gives you option) then you should be able to change it.
ALSO WELCOME BACK. I was worrying this pack was gonna die ):

I dunno, didn't let me change the title, just something about title tags...
I think I'll work on the default of pixel perfection first because it's got the most textures done so far and needs the least work, then I'll work on default sheep pack.
I'm currently working on updating Pixel Perfection default and so as soon as that is done there'll be a link, then I'll get to work on the next pack in line. (Sheep Pack default)

I would try and update the packs fully, and actually do some pixel art myself. (I don't have school or a job so I had plenty of time)
But Diablo is the only thing on my agenda. =]
Once I get tired of Diablo, Sheep would have most likely updated this fully anyway so.

Curse PremiumThanks Glim, it's certainly been very busy the past month or two! Last year of school is pretty stressful, busy and tense!
I'm currently working on updating Pixel Perfection default and so as soon as that is done there'll be a link, then I'll get to work on the next pack in line. (Sheep Pack default)
