Ok, looks like the update is set for monday!
I've done a heap of texturing friday and today so it should be a rather meaty update too. I would post some pictures of stuff like the new clouds, rain, sun, moon, creeper, etc. but I'm incredibly tired since the time I didn't spend texturing today was spent going very, very fast at a racetrack!
Anyway, I'll try and get some pictures up sometime tomorrow.
I downloaded this pack some weeks ago, but didn't really pay much attention to it, I just played in it a bit, to check it out, and sort out which variant I liked best (default), since I was so enthralled in Dokucraft, but since doku said he wasn't going to update it any time soon, I've stopped using it as much, and ever since, I've been using your texture pack, and I must say, it's amazing. You really make the best out of the 16x resolution. I was planning on taking a break from the forums for a while, but decided I had to praise your work right now; it's that amazing. And I know it's kind of rude to praise it so much, and all of the sudden do this, but there are some things that I think could use a bit of work, still, I've not participated too much in this thread, so I don't know if someone else has brought it up, or if you already said you wouldn't change anything, so I'm sorry if that's the case. The coal could use a bit of brushing up. It kind of looks like a big, black clump of nothing. I think it's the shape. I believe the diamond bit in the diamond tools are a tad too light. It should be a bit darker, I think. The diamond looks an odd shard of glass, not a diamond. And the armor, in my opinion, is all way too similar, specially the iron and diamond one. I really don't want to get attacked for saying this, those were just tiny things I think could use a bit of a brush up; the texture pack is just stunning. Excellent work, good sir.

When you used the patcher, did you click the 'HD font' box? Because that's what's doing it. To fix it, either re-download minecraft again, try deleting the pack and re-downloading it, or go into the Sheep Pack folder and delete the folder called 'font' or 'fonts' (can't remember which one)

How is the pack going? Also, I am still creating that custom map (made to be used with your pack) but It is taking some time! One guy is building A massive cathedral, and it's less than 1/4 of the way done as it is so big! I'll get some screenshots if you like...

As for the pack, it's going very well, trying to make it feel more like a pack rather than just some textures that are really random that don't really fit in with the feel (that's why I'm remaking some things in lower res such as the moon and sun)

Anywho, on a more saddening note, there will not be an update today because I actually tried my gui in-game and it... well.... Looky here (you're probably going to need to look at the full picture, not the shrunk one too see it):
As you can see, it looks a bit too cluttered AND the items don't fit in the boxes properly. (simply because If I made them any bigger, the whole inventory menu would be far too cluttered and distracting)
So, any suggestions? :biggrin.gif:
