Nope, making this texture pack was the first experience I've ever had with pixel art or photoshop/paint.net (well, apart from really simple edits and stuff)

Preview of what the gui will look like. (something along these lines anyway) This is still only 50% done so there's going to be a lot more detail on it as well. :smile.gif: (I'll add a metal border around the whole thing as well)



I also completed every item apart from diamond in the style that I wanted with no borders. This is still the old inventory gui but it shows a fair few items!

I was thinking about applying at target with my friend, but I didn't really need the money so I just sorta... didn't...

Anyway, while fiddling with chests gui I found an annoyingly annoying 'feature'


The 'Inventory' text automatically clears several rows of pixels, so I have to keep that area brown. Unfortunately, that means that my chest thing gets cut off a tiny bit, even when raised up one which means the boxes are misaligned by one pixel. D:

Ok, I managed to figure out a way of keeping the same sort of style but without the problems. It doesn't look as good yet, but that's because this style really needs extra decoration :wink.gif:

The items look a helluva lot better when you actually see them and use them in-game. The ingots definitely are better though. The last ones were pretty ugly!
The gui should be pretty quick to get through now. I have the base so I just need to copy and paste and then re-colour and add detail! :biggrin.gif:

Can't wait till I get my tablet. I haven't gotten a birthday present yet so I think that a tablet would do nicely.
I see what you mean with the snow biomes too. Tomorrow I'll post fresh pictures of the arcane pack which has new snow stuff (and new leaves and new grass which I've been working on)
I'm gonna bring a few elements of this into my other 3 variants too so the next update should be a good one!

Just sayin', I really like seeing how much my skills and technique have improved since the start of this pack!

I've done about 3 mobs, made MAJOR tweaks and upgrades to the terrain, done some new neat buttons and more on the gui.
It's really coming along now!
