Bookshelves look very nie, the colours on the books, blend nicely.
Thanks!
I'm really happy with how it turned out. I looked around at other packs and found some inspiration from eld's pack. He did his in the same softly blending way.
I have a question for you though! Would you prefer some soft noise, or really smooth flat surfaces for vivid?
By soft noise, I mean basically just a small amount of noise and then going over it by hand and getting rid of really contrasting spots.
This would basically be just for the grass though :tongue.gif:
Maybe the dirt too!
Definitly Soft Noise. :smile.gif:
Just adds detail to the landscape. :biggrin.gif:
Awesome! Soft noise it is! :biggrin.gif:
This means that each one of the variants will have different grass, dirt and stone! (and other blocks, but the differences will be more subtle :tongue.gif:)
Random vivid stuff.
Currently working on it and RPG at the same time :smile.gif:
I'm working on making the chests more unique and finishing the workbench off in true 'vivid' style :tongue.gif:
I'm also changing the dirt in vivid, but I'm just browsing the webs looking for inspiration at the moment!
Oh, one more thing, the grass in these screenshots isn't the final thing. I'm going to get rid of all the tiling issues and make it look nice and smooth. (but still textured)
Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
Phenomenal progress so far. But that is what i have come to expect from your work. I really like the workbench texture.

Not good enough! :tongue.gif:
I'm still tweaking it. I'm such a perfectionist....
PS: completely unrelated, buuuuuuut, what part of Tasmania are you from? :smile.gif:
Almost all my relatives are from there and most still live there (all except 1 are in Hobart)
I Live in a town called Perth, its near Launceston.
Where abouts do you live in the world? :ohmy.gif:
Heh, I've probably been there before :smile.gif:
I live in the glorious city of Melbourne!
As for the packs, I can't really say... I've gotten a LOT of work to do this week and I have a concert that I'm playing in tomorrow, tests tomorrow through to friday and then next week I'm preparing for exams...
This weekend I should have plenty of time though! Not to mention the packs are pretty complete right now!
Once Vivid and RPG gets released, I'll do a few epic landscape shots in the same spot, but each differant pack, and then make an animated picture, fading in and out of each pack.
Quick edit in Photoshop of a screenshot. ;D

Dude, EPIC picture! :biggrin.gif:
When you do make that picture with all three, I'll put it up in the OP if that's ok with you! (with full credits given, of course)
Here are some random stuffs I took a while ago.
Both are old pictures and what's shown in both of them has been improved already. The furnace has been made more stone-y since this pic and I also completed the furnace sides and top :tongue.gif:
The sheep also had some tweaks. I made it more rough, made the ragged wool round the bottom more obvious, and made it better looking all round!
WTF IS this a joke i need this texturepack but what da fark do u know, SHITTY LINK RAWR RAWR RAWR RAWR GIVE me the link thorugh email or update!! I BEG OF YOU! :*(
Ofcourse, when I make the one for the updated pack, it will be better. ;D
It won't suddenly switch to the start, it will completely fade in and out, and stop on the 'original' images for a few seconds so you can look at it.

I'll do what I do with DOku's pack, I'll swap them around depending on what I'm doing.
Definitly using Vivd when capturing Landscape shots. :3

I always felt that the wild sheep in minecraft shouldn't be as clean and fluffy as they are. It looks out of place :tongue.gif:
