I don't know how to explain. Add some "movement". Like if the grass is lying down in some way.
Maybe add some lines...
Yea, I've been thinking about this, but I don't want to add to much texture or noise to THIS variant... >.>
This one is supposed to be a smooth, sleek, brighter version. Sort of a bit more similar to Jolicraft or Frendens pack.
I've been taking my mind off it for a bit so I can finish the items though. I have about 7 left. :smile.gif:
You've made 2 16x packs, perhaps when your content with both packs, and they need little updating you could try a 32x pack. ;P
Or turn this pack into 1 32x, like to see how you do in a higher res pack ;D

I'm actually already doing a 32x pack!
Shadow of the colossus to be precise! :biggrin.gif:
It's only about 5% done at the moment though (just about 4 blocks done)
I like smooth packs (Vivid :3), but for people who like it rough could go with the dark/rpg. :biggrin.gif:
Yea, that's the general idea at the moment :smile.gif:
Vivid is also going to have slightly brighter colours, and silver with blue themed gems (on things that have gems :tongue.gif:)
I just feel that that grass needs something... Nothing too standout, just something >.>
Items are coming along very nicely!
Here is the items.png if you guys want to try it out! (If you do, please leave some feedback :tongue.gif:) I really want to know how all this stuff looks in-game!
Well, I posted my pack on Planet Minecraft last night and it's already in the 'most popular packs' moving banner thing! :biggrin.gif:
Pretty damn awesome!
Here are some comparison pics of Vivid and Default too!
Next up will either be the finished items (3 left now?) or some pics of RPG!
Vivid:
Default:
(oh, and my mansion is finally finished! :biggrin.gif:)
Woah, that looks awesome! Really brightens things up. Gratz on the Planet Minecraft thing, and on completing your mansion :biggrin.gif:
Thanks PhanTango! :biggrin.gif:
It really does make things more.... vivid... heh....

Actual grey cobblestone?
*Hugs XSSheep*
:biggrin.gif:
When you actually compare them, there is a MASSIVE difference!
In game though, even normal cobble looks pretty grey, but seeing them side by side (well, not really side by side) you can really see that it's not :tongue.gif:
Just realised though, I haven't done tree biomes yet >.>
Well, can't wait to try out Vivid. Any idea when it will be done? :tongue.gif:
Btw,
Not sure at the moment :tongue.gif:
I'm making a lot better progress on it than I am on RPG, but expect a PM in the next few days so you can help test it! :biggrin.gif: (and have fun using it, hopefully :tongue.gif:)
It now has a whole bunch of stuff for you guys to check out, a massive mansion for you to furnish, my secret hideout to find, along with the awesome terrain and other things I will show in this photo-dump! (Oh, it also has the scariest cave known to minecraft kind... creepers rain from the ceiling... that's pretty much all i'm gonna say...)
Some of my treasure :smile.gif:
Most was mined in the cave at the very, very bottom of my mine.
What is this magic?!?! (all legit too!)
An example of 'deep ocean' :tongue.gif:
Probably can't even see a thing though!
Future base? :smile.gif:
More witchcraft... >.>
Ginourmous desert... Funny thing is that I didn't even know it was there until very recently... I was getting sand from a tiiiiiny desert just over one hill from it :|
Awesome place near the massive desert
The way back home?
Islands far off in the distance! (all unexplored! :biggrin.gif:)
Cool overhang on the mountain that you can see in all my house shots (aka, the massive one behind my mine entrance)
Said mountain
Amazing place at the same mountain! (with some MORE witchcraft!) :biggrin.gif:
Floating islands are cool...
This is the mountain I was talking about just up there^
It's the one next to my base.
Night shots of my base!
Unfinished secret base, find it if you can!
It's finished! Just needs some landscaping outside and some furnishing inside :tongue.gif:
One of the... 5 or 6 spawners I've found so far? 2 are attached to my secret base! :smile.gif:
My mine. Head down that hole at the end for the worlds scariest cave. It's down the very bottom down any of the branches of my branch mine. Go in if you dare!
(If any of you do explore it and find something cool, could you post pics or coordinates? I don't really want to go in there again... :tongue.gif:)
Ok guys, there you have it!
If you do something awesome and feel like posting some screens, feel free to post them here!
Hope you enjoy it!
PS: Info on Vivid and RPG is coming later this week too! :tongue.gif:
You know, you can set it to peaceful and go back in that cave :tongue.gif:
And that world, is AMAZING.
What!?!??
Peaceful?!?!?
:tongue.gif:
Ok though, I'm gonna go back in right now and show you guys some pics of what I'm talking about... there is a cavern that you arrive in with about 10 more caves opening into it IN THE CEILING!!!!
IT RAINS CREEPERS!!! D:
Oh, and the top of the roof is about 20 blocks up at it's highest point... Scary :3
Go into my mine (big hole in mountain, can't miss it :tongue.gif:) and down this massive stairway to level 12.
Follow any of these passages to the end.
At the end, turn left and you will come out into this big cavern! Be on your guard though, it rains creepers! (If you can see the tiny monster tag in the picture, or the small dark hole at the *very* top of this cavern, that is where they come from. I think...)
Ok, all these horrible pictures are basically trying to show you where the monsters come from. I had F3 mode on to try and show you some monster tags so you could see where they were but I forgot the pictures get shrunk so they're gonna be almost impossible to see...
I haven't explored much of this cave because of the sheer amount of monsters in it, and the fact that they rained on me >.>
Have fun exploring it!
I've had that happen as well.
Sand and gravel floating in the air. The moment you punch it it usually falls bringing its neighbors down with it.
On the smp server I **** around on, we've been playing with a biome terrain mod and I currently have a house under a massive cliff/plateau thing, and a large chunk of it is gravel.
So the moment anything happens, whether from me or from a creeper and a skeleton having a fight, it sends giant chunks of the plateau crashing into the ocean, often killing more mobs on it's way down.
It's kind of like watching a nature special about icebergs smashing apart into the sea. Except not nearly as cool and nobody with an english accent is narrating.

Yea, it really is quite awesome!
Weird thing is, I dug all of the sand blocks around it, and it still didn't fall... it's just the one block of witchcraft and wizardry in my world I guess :tongue.gif:
I might turn it into a shrine. Sacrifice creeper children to it and whatnot...
Just sayin, David Attenborough's voice makes EVERYTHING better...

It does indeed make minecraft's graphics cool! :smile.gif:
Finally Got Around To Using The Texture Pack.
I Like The Inventory GUI. :]
-snip-
^The Stone, Could Be A 'Little' Bit Darker Perhaps.^ [:
-snip-
^A Single Tree With Like; 5 Colours Haven't Seen That In A Texture Pack,
But Honestly, I Didn't Mind It.^
-snip-
^With Bettergrass, This Texture Pack Looks Great,
Is It Wildgrass Compatible?^
-snip-
^Sun, I Liked The Sun ;D^
Haha, glad you like it! :biggrin.gif:
That tree looks beserk! Maybe I should smooth out the colours, just *slightly*....
I might also darken the stone a teensy bit, but I don't want it to be too dark. That's what the RPG variant will be for! :tongue.gif:
As for wildgrass, that's something I plan to do now because I just re-downloaded the mod again! :biggrin.gif:
