This is a really nice texture pack, but I would love you eternally if you made a 32x pack or a 64x pack, based on this design!
Well I have thought about messing with some higher res textures :3
Hmmmmmm.................
I'll stuff around with 64 and 32 and then decide which one I would prefer to work on.

Can someone help me with downloading this?
On like what to do, I know nothing on texturepacks or mods, and I just wanted some help.
Go on your minecraft game, there should ba a mods and texture packs button. Click it, and click the button on the bottom. It should bring up an empty file if you have no packs. Drag the whole ZIPPED file you downloaded into that file, and then it should appear in the texture pack list. Click on it, and it should be working.
Alright everyone, I have made around 15 different wood alternates that are now in the alternates file. I also added a heart and water for the wolf particles (never realized they weren't in there before) and tweaked some items. I also added another items.png with all the shovels the normal way around (sorry it took so long before I got around to doing it!) The one with flipped shovels is now the alternate so you can choose which one you prefer!
Now working on more textured grass, couple of sandstone alternates, more varied paintings and.... double resolution mobs! (these are quite difficult >.>)
Alright everyone, zombie is basically complete! I am going to change the face a bit to make it a bit larger because at the moment, the proportions for his face look rather stupid! :tongue.gif:
Well here he is:
I have also been inspired by Doku's idea of having a few different versions of the same pack with different themes. These will mostly be colour changes so there will be a more RPG feeling version, a brighter, more cheery version and the current intermediate version. There will be slight changes in the terrain but that would probably just be gold trimming on chests instead of silver and things like that.
Next mob to come will be the almighty creeper! :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: Forgot to mention, all mobs will be double resolution because it allows more space for changes without needing special patchers or something to work.
Very nice and smooth. I love the paintings. The jack-o-lantern creeped me out. :tongue.gif:
My suggestion would be to make sandstone go better with sand. :smile.gif:

Thank you! :smile.gif:
I actually JUST finished 5 more sandstone textures for the alternates file and some of them match the sand perfectly! Might make one of them default too...
i.love.this.pack. ive been using it a lot lately because it reminds of the cell-shaded look of the legend of zelda the wind waker, or okami. i love the style you're heading towards and i cant wait to see this pack whne its fully finished. GREAT JOB!!!! keep up the good work!
I stopped updating, because I dont like the pack's new look; still, a great job.
Currently sporting v0.95 - would you mind adding cookies to it? :smile.gif:
You can just download the latest version and copy the items.png into your pack, that way you get the cookies! You also might like the next update, there will be a version with a lot brighter colours like the old versions! I will have 3 different 'styles' of the pack I guess, with one being more saturated and bright (like the old pack), one being more like the current, and one a bit darker, with a more RPG type feeling! I'm gonna post pics of the progress tomorrow.

:biggrin.gif: Thank you! I absolutely love wind waker, awesome zelda game right there!
I really like this texture pack, but I would prefer to wait until the new patch drops. I haven't been able to get a look at the wolves yet though, as I was using the pre-1.4 version. I have to say, next to Painterly, this pack is the most detailed 16x pack I've seen yet. Good work.

Don't think this pack can actually compete with painterly given the sheer weight of options in it, but it is a nice thought!

Love the new updates Sheep! Excellent pack. Hopefully, I'll have time to run around it tonight....if I ever get time to play
:biggrin.gif:
Thanks! That's the only problem with making a texture pack, now I spend more time making textures than I do playing the game... and when I am playing the game, it's most likely just seeing how a texture looks.... >.>
That will be different when 1.5 drops though!

Have an idea for the theme yet? (yes I am rather interested!)
I'm actually making a 64x64 tomb raider pack now too. Gonna suck up ALL of my freetime... >.>
Ok everyone, I have some awesome news, I am in contact with an awesome forum goer by the name of Kroc, who has a lot of experience with css, html, etc. coding. This means that we might (hopefully) be able to have a painterly style customizer website soon!
(then come my plans for world domination!!! Muahahahahaha!)
Wow, that's some pretty awesome news. If you are able to turn out enough alternate graphics as good as the main ones, you may just become a rival for Painterly.

Well so far I have a 256x256 sheet filled with alternates and i'm still making more! :biggrin.gif:
So maybe not as many as the painterly pack yet, but they have had a year's head start! (I only started this pack 1 month ago)
