I realize Mario is a popular theme but this is not the same as Mariocraft, that's why I was suggested to call this Markocraft cause when I first started making it I intended only to use it myself but then realized that it might be worth sharing after friends of mine started using it too. I put a lot of thought about how the game looked originally and mixed it with ideas that I thought were more fun to look at. If you try this pack for a little bit it may just grow on you like it did me.
Here is Markocraft... with an overhaul!
I made the no outlines pack, and much of it is very different from v2
I will update this pack if I come up with more ideas, or if it has something wrong with it.
Please report any problems/complaints and I'll try to fix them asap.

Make the wood (the planks) the airship kind. The current version seems a little silly
Turn the brown mushroom into a green one
The red iron door for the iron doors
Redstone wire could be in the fashion of the "paths" in the world select stage (with the 4 way being a circle)
Either way, this is still pretty awesome.

thank you for the comment, i liked your ideas, and i had to use the red iron doors. i had seen the texture before but i had forgot about it while concentrating on other parts of the pack. also i do see how the wood planks look much better with just two black boxes instead of four.
btw, Markocraft has been updated download v2 if you want to try it out!
Just a little feedback, when i'm looking at large spans of grass it's kind of a eye-sore with the big bold black lines, would be nicer if the top part of grass blocks had a smaller or no black line on them.
Also redstone is hard to spot, would be nice if the lines were thicker and stood out more.
Apart from that it's a brilliant pack and :Diamond:s for you.

it is possible i could make a separate version with no outlines on dirt, sand, gravel, grass, and snow possibly but everything else would look unfinished without the lines.
I like everybody's ideas here I have tried working each of them in somehow...
i'll be updating it soon with a no outlines pack too, but its a lot different with some of the textures due to trying to keep things from looking too out of place.
that pack is almost done so i will try to have it up within the hour.

sure i will have a look at the textures in game and see what ideas i can come up with, it might have to be labeled as a different pack? i havent yet figured out how to best organize multiple texture pack versions for the forum...
the no outline version is better in my eyes but i wanted people to have the option of the old one just in case they liked it better i guess.
still if i make another mario pack it still kinda fits in the same category here i guess, but how should i make it available to the forum?
