Very good job on the pack. I have one suggestion though. You have the sulfur a pile of green blobs. Maybe you could change these green blobs so that they also have eyes on them, and make the creeper a multi-eyed monster! One other suggestion is that it would be nice if you create a bigger 'window' on the wooden door. Personally, I like to see whether or not there is a creeper or some other baddy behind it, but with the small eye for the window that you have now, it's hard to tell. One small change to it is all I'm asking, maybe add another half circle below it to make it look like an eye.
Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas so far. I've taken a few into account and made some tweaks to the pack.
I've changed the health icon, as well as made the door window bigger and made cobblestone into bone fragments
The behemoth is crawling with all kinds of parasites, and these overgrown fleas are no exception (I know fleas only have six legs, hard to sprite that away though)
I orignially had creepers in the next update be volatile walking ooze bags, but someone mentioned eye-creatures and, well...I think this is a good compromise. Any more eyeball things and I'm going to have to call this Eyecraft...
in a couple of these pics, you may have noticed the ground looks odd. As it turns out, Xau's texture pack also applies custom biomes in addition to water and lava, so when I patched minecraft with my texture pack, it put the customized biome files into effect. Also, I made sand into bloody clots and scabstone.
If this is received well I might update tomorrow with these new changes. One thing I'm stuck on is carts, I'm not sure to make them into cells like the boats are. Maybe large insects or something.
Hey I have an idea for the pack. How about for fish "parasites", "blood parasites" or something like that also giving the fish at least two legs. Hope this reaches you, Thanks!

I honestly hadn't thought much for the fish; this isn't a bad idea really. Maybe something halfway between a frog and a fish, with some lamprey elements could work. I intend to update after Notch puts out the next one with the wolves, so I'll see what I can do.
I have a suggestion for changing the bread texture to maybe a lump of pure meat and protein. While the pill is original it doesn't seem to fit as much.
Okay, really? The textures don't even line up correctly on half the objects. This is as simple as making a texture pack gets, opening up all the textures and just changing the hue.

I'm a Java programmer, and I'm a terrible artist. Anything else, just ask me.
I think you should completely redo the items instead of just recoloring them
A lot of the items are redone, most recolors you find within the pack, both in textures and items, are placeholders until I know exactly what I want to do with them. LIke most packs here, this is a work in progress, so I'm adding to it whenever I can.
Case in point, I just redid the bamboo into something that more resembles the capillary look I was going for.
Hey, ive done a youtube video on this, so i will be posting it once uploaded :tongue.gif: Please watch all of it and post on OP also, READ THE DISC!!! It gives through my main point about it! : The texturepack is very nice, but if your new to minecraft DON'T USE IT!!!! Its very nice but hard to identify dirt from wooden planks, and iron and redstone need tweaking so that they look like what they are! At first i thought redstone was gold!!! please post this on the OP because, even though i have some bad points in there, it will show everyone what its like! so please view! NOTE: Also change TnT! In the video i blew up my texturepack gallery because i did'nt know what it was! As i was saying don't take this bad, because i really really REALLY like it! Some things are hard to identify thats what im saying!
I appreciate the praise, thanks. I would have kept a lot of things as they were, but they either really didn't suit the setting (Piles of dust from exposed brains?) or I wanted to take a more original spin on the concept (Like with resin replacing sticks). I thought changing names in the .lang would make things more interesting, but it seems to have only made things worse, so in the next update I'll be sure to add a 'recipe book' until Notch adds one of his own, just to help cut down on confusion.
You're right though, I didn't really intend the pack to be used by beginners; mostly it was for experienced players who wanted a new take on the game's systems. In the meantime, I'm going to add a visual key from a screenshot, hopefully it'll help.
Once again, thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm always looking to improve my pack. I look forward to the video.
I decided to go ahead and post the pack with the new textures and items I've revised. Let me know what you think and I'll change them when I update the pack again later.
In particular, I'd like to know what you think about the slime texture (now designed to tile better) and the chest/stomach.
Good texture pack, although it's a little hard to tell things apart. Oh well, still awesome. The only complaint I have is the water. It's blue on the surface. However, when you go underwater, it's red. This is probably a texture problem because I looked in the terrain.png and the water.png and it was a red texture. If nobody knows what i'm talking about, look in the picture. In the distance the water is blue. But enough complaints. This texture pack is so good it deserves DIAMONDS!
This pack is really fun to get into, immediately when I created a new world the first thing I did was punch and cut away until I had enough wood and I made a church above an underground dungeon and I dubbed it "Church of the Behemoth" and I went ahead and created this cult that worshipped the living thing. This is a very lovecraftian texture.
The colors themselves work very well to complete the feel of atmosphere in the pack. Some shots after the bump.
Just a little snippet.
Also please finish up the armor retextures. Thank you!

What do you mean by Selector pack exaclty?

Should be fixed now, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

After Notch updates minecraft (hopefully) next week. That way I can throw in the wolf reskin.
