I'm sorry, it may just be because it's not finished yet, but there are quite a few things wrong with this pack right off the bat.
Something seems to have gone terribly wrong.
There seem to be green artifacts on the stone and cobblestone blocks. Similar problems are happening with the GUI. Were the green parts supposed to be invisible?
Were you, by chance, making this in some other program that didn't use pixels, and then tried to put them in MS paint? I know a similar thing happened when I was trying to make the textures using flash. This can be remedied by using another pixel editing program that let's you easily see what's transparent, and what's not. I use Paint.NET, myself.
I am not at all a fan of the style you seem to have chosen with sand, gravel cloth, sad to say.
Pasting a solid color over the default sand texture does not a good pack make.
I assume the reason for you doing this is because you're trying to make a pack with MS paint, and therefore do not have many tools at your disposal, like the noise tool, and such.
(For those of you not familiar with the terminology, a noise filter randomly changes pixels slightly. Like, makes them lighter or darker. You can see that uses this filter to simulate lots of tiny rocks.)
Simple Texture packs are very hard to make look good, and one key factor is color choices. You don't have to make gravel that color just because it is in the default pack. Check out this pack I'm working on:
Now, if I do say so myself, that is a very nice color, and works very well for gravel.
Plain green grass is also pretty problematic. It makes it incredibly hard to judge distances on flat plains or down hills.
Even if you don't want to have a nice wavy pattern like me, adding a light noise filter would make grass much easier to see and more fun to look at.
And again, I can't stress this enough, but if you're making a simple pack, Nice Colors
is the absolute most important thing.
I like to use Girlcraft as an example of a good simple texture pack, because it's creative with what colors are what. In a sea of boring simple texture packs, you've got to do something different if you want to be taken seriously.

Leiden, yeah iknow and i say it again :tongue.gif: I'm not finished yet :smile.gif: it is only v2 so just wait and see what happens! :biggrin.gif: i'm nearly finish! =) Enjoy <3
Oh, I knew it wasn't done, yet. I just wanted to start you out on the right path. Actually, you might want to rename your pack. Generally speaking, people have gotten a little tired of "simple" packs, so people may have a bias against your pack even before they click on the topic. I might suggest something a little different, such as BioCraft, or something that doesn't conjure up the image of another simple pack.
