Ya, i agree with you. I never have really been good with backups, and i figure now is a good time to start. I'm not going to keep the download links on the post, but i will keep the files on mediafire. As for the stairs, i will look into it.
EDIT: I wasn't sure what you meant by stair, so i looked at both cobble and wood stairs, along with all 4 types of slab. as far as i can see, there is nothing wrong. can you maybe post a screenshot?

ya, i think thats a minecraft glitch. try placing a torch near the stairs to re-light the area. if that doesn't work, then im sorry, but there really isn't anything i can do. :sad.gif:

i tried everything, its fine i just thought i would let you know, it may be fixed whenever 1.6 comes out

sorry random, i have just been really busy. i will take a look at your version, but unless it blows me away, i doubt i will be adding it. it isn't anything personal, its just that managing 3 packs is alot, and i think 4 would be too many.

I'll be honest and say, not really. It was the rather surprising, and rather invigorating amount of people who have asked me to continue my texture pack. But I can't say that seeing that people care so much as to make a fan updated version didn't help too. So yeah, I am really grateful of you guys!
Just to make it clear... This fan updated version is here to stay! I have already given permission to continue my texture pack. Even though the official version has been updated now, these three packs can be seen as very nice spin-offs =)
EDIT: Oh, and I simply love the Zombie Pig Man! I hope Thepaan won't mind me using this one as inspiration. It will look different, as I don't want to feel like I'm just taking someone else's work... I just rather need a skin that I can work with. (Seriously, I can't tell what is what in the default texture of the Zombie Pig Man)

personally i just am not a big fan of the furnace in your new txt pack but i love how you did a custom for water and fire and well pretty much everything new, i will be switching quite often between the 2, I'm glad to see that you're back and can't wait till we see what you "cook up" (come out with) next. thank you for starting this texture pack i hardly ever switch from it anymore. the simplistic aspect is like no other but you can actually tell what things are =P also (just a personal preference i guess) but i was never really a huge fan of the leaf blocks when in fancy mode. i don't really know what you could do to change it but i get/got used to it. anyway again a HUGE thanks from me and I'm sure there is another one from all your supporters out there.

Huh? The furnace has always been like this from the very beginning. I haven't changed anything about it.

I'm back! For the last few weeks I've had some computer problems:/ But Now I'm here! And just in time for 1.7! As some people may know, a Mojang employee known as Jeb released Minecraft 1.7's terrain and items.png on Twitter the other day for texture packers, so I've already edited my part for splotchblock! I realized that this topic seems a little dead, but hopefully tomorrow it'll be a little more lively for 1.7 update. I'll release it officially tomorrow, but here's the changelist:
* Changed MClogo ( "a" in Minecraft has Splotch Block Creeper Texture:3 )
* Added default character in Splotchblock Form ( Will not overwrite custom Minecraft skin uploaded from the sight, but will overwrite anyone who hasn't changed their skin. )
* Thought Golden weapons should have a custom design as well, so I gave it to them.
* Added Map and trapdoor blocks
* Added Shears
* Added Pistons, both regular and sticky. Not too satisfied with the sticky pistons, so that may be changed in a later update.
* (Finally!!) tweaked cookies. It's about time, I know:/
* Edited the diamond armour to mirror the look of the the diamond armour items:D (widely untested.. So erm.. Someone should test it tomorrow and tell me how it looks! )
