Ah, See I just copy/pasted from his planks to make the ties, and the actual bars of the rails (as well as the button looking things) are the same from the original rails, then I copy/pasted in a duplicate set to make the gold ones.
So, I guess cut/paste of his own work isn't the way to go? :laugh.gif: how ironic. Ah, well.

Nah, nothing wrong with that. That's basically what I've been doing, after all. :biggrin.gif:
Been using this since i started playing, its perfect (almost) i have tried many other higher res packs but they lack the warmth of this one, so i keep coming back to (and staying with) 'rustic', i just hope you eventually decide to make the transition to 128x (or higher), whilst keeping the rustic natural warmth of the pack, big fan, keep up the good work (you should put up a pay-pal donation link i'd buy you a cup of coffee (if i could get the latest and greatest version, keep the old versions free, etc.))
Question: How come my Windows 7 computer does not recognize this as a texture pack? Should I take out the Modding or Alternate Textures folders
Check three things:
1: It needs to go into your "texturepacks" fold as the ZIP file it downloaded as.
2: Do not unzip it, do not remove files from the ZIP archive, and do not put it in any other folder.
3: Also, make sure you have downloaded and used MCPatcher. You can download it here.
Mine runs perfectly with those folders still located within the ZIP archive.
Those are the only things I can think of as to why it wouldn't be recognized... :mellow.gif:

These are beautiful Gl0u0m! did you paint these your self or use his existing textures?
Thanks. The iron plate block was a little of both (painted a simple base layer, used part of Ovo's existing iron block texture as a semi-transparent overlay, then painted over parts of it again to give it a little more texture and define the edge a bit more), but for the ornate blocks I just pieced together parts from the iron door and did some minor touch-ups along the seams to make it look less patched-together (the diamond is a resized & recolored version of Ovo's diamond block.) Still learning, but I'm quite happy with the way these came out.
Looks good, matches the crafting table. :smile.gif: Any chance you've got the infinite plank alt in Ovo's default plank color as well? It'd be useful for replacing the painting back texture (along with its normal use as a plank alt, of course.)
I ask again. I don't have minecraft in my place and I wanna see what it's look like in the game.
I would if I had that mod installed, but unfortunately I don't. What's the name of it? Maybe I'll check it out, if only to take a few quick screenshots of your textures.

Could you post that texture to another host that allows pngs? Such as imgur? A picture that small won't be recompressed if you post it there.
Did so on my original post.

EDIT: Hmm. Nevermind.
The light one almost seems a bit too yellow compared to default.

^Smooth Iron Plate, for building purposes
^Ornate Iron Block, for decorative purposes (not very rustic, but it matches the iron door!)
And a matching Ornate Diamond Block, because it seemed like a neat idea and was simple enough to make:
EDIT: Will probably make a gold block to match this particular "theme" later, for now I'm taking a break to play some minecraft. :smile.gif:
x64, He does not really say that anywhere.
