I'm really sorry but... I'm giving up on this texture pack for good.
I'm not playing Minecraft anymore, I never had a real passion for making this texture pack (I don't have a creative passion in general anyway, but I have some talent so I try to do something of it) and the attempts to get financial support all failed (donations are very rare and advertising income is insignificant). If I was close to finishing the pack I would try to but I'm very far from it. I'm at point where I can't find positive motivating reasons to continue anymore.
I wish I had that urge to create that so many other texture artists and mod makers seem to have... Being close to depression for so many years probably tempered this.
I will give back the donations I received since summer (that's $17, It won't ruin me :smile.gif:) and previous ones if anyone want so, which I would understand.
And I'll try to keep the pack compatible with minecraft updates in the future. If I fail at this, the version on minecraftcustomizer should be updated automatically.
Sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for all the work you've put in thus far. It's become my favorite texture pack by far.
I am sorry to hear that this pack will not be continued, but I understand your reasons. I urge the community to respect Ovo's decision; in the meantime, I definitely support the idea of sharing whatever personally-made placeholder textures we've been using so we might collectively be able to put together and enjoy a more complete rustic experience.
Thank you all and sorry again to let you down. I feel greatly relieved and free so I know it was the good decision for me.
It's great to see new people stepping in to take up the work. I didn't expect my pack to turn into a community effort, because of the quite high resolution, so I'd be very impressed and happy if you guys manage to do it ! If you feel the need to start another thread, I'll gladly link to it.

Made an enchanting table; a bit un-rustic, but it looks nice enough in-game. Got to do something about that book, though...
And, here's an alternate without the magical nonsense scribbled on top:
Oh, and of course, the recolored obsidian alt I use (less purple, closer to the color of the default obsidian):
And lastly, a very simple sign modification for those of you who like to use signs for other, more decorative purposes as well.
EDIT: Ended up making a considerably more rustic enchanting table as well. It's not entirely faithful to the crafting materials used to make it, but I think it looks quite nice:
Just want to thank you for all your hard work on this Ovo and sharing it with us. You've added some really nice artwork to my Minecraft and I greatly appreciate it.
I'm disappointed you aren't going to continue working on it, but I respect your decision. I'd hate for you to force yourself to keep working on this if you weren't finding it rewarding.
I hope you find some great, rewarding outlets for your artistic talent. Thanks again.
Not exactly finished, but it's something to use in the game for now. Finishing it might be a bit more involved than most other textures, since it sort of needs to be coordinated with both the blaze rod (which in turn needs to be coordinated with the blaze itself) and the bottle sprite for the most satisfying sort of result; for now I've left the design fairly open-ended so it can later be altered to incorporate those elements as they are created.

This thread is now obsolete... sad that you will get like 10 less posts per day.

EDIT: Wait, do I put the boat.png into the item folder or just straight into the zip? :tongue.gif:
Nevermind. Item folder was right.
