I started using this texture pack today and I must say I'm impressed. At first I could hardly believe that this was only 16x since it looked as though it belonged in at least the 64x group. So hats off to the creator. Very well done pack.

This is awesome work! Bravo!
I am utterly amazed at the beauty of your work, the little details, and the general mood/theme you have successfully made.
have you thought of working in such a field? you know, 2d graphical art?
Why are more than half of the texture not finished? AWESOME TEXTURE PACK THOUGH!My favorite by far most of it arent done maybe the download link is messed up
Wow! Firstly, texture packs can't cause errors in game.
The problem you're having involves the lack of using the mcpatcher application to patch the HD textures, present in Ovo's pack.
The thread for mcpatcher is at the top of the first page of the texture pack subforum and simply run the application, start up minecraft and select Ovo's Rustic Pack the way you normally would...
I'm really sorry but... I'm giving up on this texture pack for good.
I'm not playing Minecraft anymore, I never had a real passion for making this texture pack (I don't have a creative passion in general anyway, but I have some talent so I try to do something of it) and the attempts to get financial support all failed (donations are very rare and advertising income is insignificant). If I was close to finishing the pack I would try to but I'm very far from it. I'm at point where I can't find positive motivating reasons to continue anymore.
I wish I had that urge to create that so many other texture artists and mod makers seem to have... Being close to depression for so many years probably tempered this.
I will give back the donations I received since summer (that's $17, It won't ruin me :smile.gif:) and previous ones if anyone want so, which I would understand.
And I'll try to keep the pack compatible with minecraft updates in the future. If I fail at this, the version on minecraftcustomizer should be updated automatically.
Don't do what you don't enjoy. It's as simple as that.
You don't have to give into updating the back if you don't want to,
Ovo. Sure it's a great pack and many people use it regularly, but
it's not like there isn't ones of similar quality on the forums.
If you do end up updating, Thanks ahead of time, but in the end,
it's not worth giving up personal happiness over a texture pack for
a video game.
Thanks for your hard work Ovo, truly remarkable!
Also, to all, please don't badger the creators of packs, in this instance Ovo, to update the pack. For the most part the creators of high quality backs are fully aware of said pack's completion status. I'm no moderator or anything, but I can already see 5 newcomers checking this pack's thread and replying about when it will be updated.
Exactly that. We thank you for your work, we love what you have given us, and with it we are better. We ask no more than what you've already given, and who knows, I did an OK cauldron, (and lately I did some dye textures) so I might be able to finish my own style of it with my own work too. :smile.gif:
Ovo, again, we thank you!

Hey Ovo,
I'm sorry to hear you aren't playing Minecraft anymore. It was a great pack while it lasted. I'm also sorry to hear about the depression, you are a true artist. I'm also dealing with depression. But enough of that, I appreciate your hard work put into this pack and your pack definitely makes my top 10. Good luck with where ever you go next in life. I would have donated but sadly I do not have the money either. Once again, Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

P.S: I second what Schwaa had to say. Let Ovo be.
