I absolutely adore this pack! :wub.gif: It's a nice environment, not the "squeaky clean" look of a lot of texture packs :sleep.gif: , and not so dark as to be hard to see in! The "rustic" look is really really well maintained throughout the whole pack (thought he chicken makes me wonder :huh.gif: ).
I admit I also like to tweak it here and there :unsure.gif: (make the bed's blanket purple, a continuous wool texture, pot-belly cauldron, less fancy rails, etc etc.) It's hard to make a good fit, but it's well worth the effort in doing so just to accent the existing work, than ever replace it all! :happy.gif:
I can do pixel art, but not as well as this texture pack! :tongue.gif: Always one of my first downloads every update!
I know my opinion isn't much (as it's my first forum post ever) but, if it's worth anything, tipping my hat to this work is well worth finally speaking up. :smile.gif:
this is the most incredible texture pack i've ever seen. maybe in the next update you could add items? but anyway, sexiest textures i've ever seen, good job.
I discovered texturepacks in 1.7, and this is one of the two that I've redownloaded every time I update Minecraft versions. I love collecting texturepacks, just for the fun of having new and interesting things to look at, but I always come back to this one (and Steelfeathers' Enchanted).
I was playing to Skyrim, but luckily my PC is too slow for it so I'm back on the textures. :smile.gif:
Currently doing my own water and lava animation.
Thank you for the waterfall of comments above, always appreciated!

My computer can run it pretty good. I run it on high, though I had to cut down on the aliasing and filtering by half. It's pretty bad that I got it on PS3 as well :tongue.gif:
So I log on after updating and discovered that currently with the texture pack on all my dirt blocks look like they're on fire. I've yet to decide if I like it or hate it. :biggrin.gif:
that's because you don't have the latest mcpatcher and the texture pack isn't up-to-date for 1.0 of full release.
Update to Retail 1.0 version of Ovo's pack is not necessary - any new textures simply will revert to Default Minecraft texture, while all that ARE updated will be cool and spiffy. Download and use. I am with no ill effects. If a new one comes out from Ovo, just download and replace.
