Hey Ovo, could you consider making stone bricks and stone blend better together? In default textures one can blend stone brick buildings perfectly with the natural stone. That's because the Stone Brick texture is basicly the same as stone, it just has the added brick-like details over the stone texture.
I do like the look of your stone bricks, but they don't blend in with the natural stone the way they do in default. They stand out more, which is not bad in all cases. I think it is a matter of preferences.
But I do like the way Mojang have made the cobblestone blending perfectly with the cracked stone brick and stone brick blending perfectly with natural stone. It just gives you so much options when you mixing with different kinds of materials.
Try stone bricks and stone half blocks together with this pack. They fit great.
Yes, they do. And also gobblestone fits nicely with them. Basicly they are all made from same stone. Same lighter colored stone that doesn't excist in anywhere naturally. The natural stone (and ore blocks too of course) is much darker than any of the processed stones. That's kinda odd and I would prefer that all stones would be more alike. After all they origin from the same base stone!
But the contrast between them is propably intentional so man made materials would stand out better from the natural stone. But I like to blend things together.
Actually stone and stone bricks contrast nicely, especially when the stone brick is used for the edging.

I just took the gold block and put the alternate glass on top of it :tongue.gif:
A smoothish glowstone instead of the bubbly one now with a frame of some kind.
It's almost good enough for I add it to the customizer ! Almost. :wink.gif:
I'm also a huge fan of lantern like glowstone. And I propably will be as long as we don't have lanterns ingame. I have also made my own lantern-like glowstone alternatives for this pack. I believe there are more people like us here who like these, so I share my designs too.
Disclaimer: These are made from original Ovo's textures, I don't take any credit from creating these. Basicly I changed the original glowstone texture to give it more textile or papery like feeling and look. Then I played around with the alternate, more decorative glass texture to make the block appear like a lantern.
Like you might have guessed these are inspired by Dokucraft. So credit for him too.
I really hope Ovo don't get mad at me for sharing these, but after all they are in his thread so, I don't see any problem here.
I have also replaced 64x64 paintings with these so you can put a glowstone or pumpking inside your wall and then place a small painting to cover it. That way you can turn ugly (my opinion) pumpkins into cool wall lamps/lanterns.
There's no reason why I'd get mad at you, the libre licence I've chosen for my pack is precisely there to allow you guys to modifiy and share. Btw, you can take credit for modifications you make, that does count!!

You need to patch or install optifine.
