You know, when I think rustic, I usually think of really boring, brown/grey looking things that look like it should be in a country home for the elderly.
Gotta say, I am pleasantly surprised that your texture pack still manages to be quite amazing. I'm not sure "rustic" is the right word, but this texture pack is definately very detailed and very nice looking. Unique textures that aren't cookie-cutter, with it's own spin on things. Well done! :biggrin.gif:
Your screen is off maybe ? :wink.gif:
I've no other idea, sorry.
I figured it out. needed to re download java for windows 7 64bit apparently i was running 32bit its why i couldnt make it big screen only worked small screen.
Not to stress you out Ovo, But I picked Faster smaller updates because I just love your pack! So far I have only found 3 Packs that I enjoy with you being one of them! The other 2 (If your interested in knowing) are Frenden's Cartoon Pack and The McKnack Pack.

Thanks ! For me "rustic" defines a manufactured object that is simple, a bit rough, made of natural material. It doesn't perfectly depict the entirety of my pack anymore but some blocks like the workbench, furnace, cobblestone... can definitely be called rustic.

Always good to know :smile.gif:
Polls are fun, I should do more polls ! :biggrin.gif: (Oh I'm talking like Notch now)
And I'll do more small updates from now on. That's my preference too actually.
I'm also overjoyed to hear you are working on the creeper. I'm curious how he would look
in this sort of rough, "rustic" atmosphere, present in the pack.
So, towards what end are you going with it, more realistic and creepy, or keeping a bit
more child friendly, smooth, and simple?
Rustic creeper... I would imagine it darker than normal with more black than the default ones. Nothing to worry about though, since ovo's newest textures are in my opinion the best in the pack.
My only criticism, which has been mentioned before is how cobble seems a little too seamless, would be great if this could be improved, perhaps as an alternate texture?
Some think it has too much of a seam, others think it's too seamless. Can't make everyone happy.
Could you please make a version for 1.8 if it isn't too hard for you? It's just that 1.9 pre-release is not as stable as 1.8 and also 1.9 doesn't have any mods yet (mostly)...
Thanks in advance.
Hey has anyone here tried using this texture pack with the Equivalent Exchange mod? I love this texture pack, but recently I tried running it with EE, and got the visual error that occurs when you have not patched for HD textures. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

When a texture pack shows what patch it is compatible for, it more than 80% of the time it works with every previus patch. No change needed.

Glad you're back into the swing of things Ovo!

Just don't make the cows and things look silly with overly detailed, flat faces like in a lot of other high res packs :tongue.gif:
Packs loooking good. :3

My Favorite Texture Pack is OVO's Rustic Pack:

Install optifine instead. It supports HD textures and boosts FPS :wink.gif:
