won't work, if you can even see the glitch in the default textures where the overlap is completly black it will always be seen. guess we'll have to wait for a fix.
my point is, if pixel x,y is brown on both the lid and the body of the chest where they overlap, then you can't tell if it switches back and forth - it still will, but you won't see it, as the difference from one to the other is 0.
The giant ones? You can use bonemeal on the little ones (seem to be large numbers in 1.8) to create the larger from what I've heard. :smile.gif:
Huh... Never knew that before...
Well I have a bunch of mushrooms so I can definitely do that. It is really late here in aus though so I'll have to get the pics tomorrow because I'm off to bed. Night y'all!
For those of you who simply can't stand having a few default textures in the pack (of which I am not one) - find and download "Texmix" - download the packs that have the replacements you like, and make your own custom pack.
For me, and everyone playing on my server (7 now) - we won't use anything but the latest OVO - no tweaking. Nobody's work is nearly as good as those working on this pack. It's not worth muddying up my screen.

Kudos guys!
I would just like to mention that I got all the veterans on my server using this pack about a month ago, too (or at least those of us with good enough computers to run it), and everything in the server looks so amazing since it's all built to fit in with this specific texture pack. I also feel that you should be able to take as long as you need to finish all the textures since each and every one is just beautiful and extremely detailed and I would hate to see a drop in quality just because you had to rush to finish the 1.8 textures.
Look fine for me. Did you run MCPatcher after your last update? As stated many times before, just because minecraft doesn't crash anymore with HD textures, doesn't mean it supports them. You still need to patch.
Ovo I really like your texture pack, but it tiles horribly. =/
Here's an example of the new cobble tiling issues. Black lines are clearly visible to segment the blocks into 9 individual tiles instead of being seamless. The same issue occurs on the mossy cobblestone as well.
EDIT: It turns out a lot of his blocks have tiling issues, so far it's Cobblestone, Mossy Cobblestone, Gold, Iron, Diamond, and Lapis Blocks (not ore)

Personally I Welcome this tiling "problem" - it makes it SO much easier to count blocks if I need to accurately measure something, without being too obvious. Especially with the cobblestone, as that is what most things are built out of. Without this "problem" I would have to remove blocks, or let my cursor select each block in sequence to count distances.
I vote to leaving the blocks the way they are. I LOVE them that way.
Mossy Cobblestone has to be the same as cobblestone (underneath the moss anyway)
Gold, Iron, and Lapis Blocks aren't supposed to tile are they?
Sometimes gold, iron, lapis, and diamond blocks are used as extra details on massive builds. Extra colors never hurt when making a banner on a castle wall or gate. And if you're still using Cobble to build with? Cook that cobble and make stone bricks.
The newest cobble looks the best out of all the ones Ovo has done so far, his pack simply tiles badly. If I could fix it I would but I don't have that much expertise.

I don't think it tiles badly (I love it actually) but if you want I'll tweak it slightly to make the cracks on the edge of the block a little less straight.

But the mossy cobblestone needs to be fixed (tiles a bit bad)

You just need to update to 1.8! :3
Hopefully you have been working on those new textures :wink.gif:

My Favorite Texture Pack is OVO's Rustic Pack:
Honestly this is by far the best pack out. Im just sad that i cant see a lot of things in 1.8 with it :sad.gif:

Curse PremiumYea, I managed to make the mushrooms as well but I have yet to come across one to take some screenies of it!
I might touch up the new chests a little too because from the pics, they look a tad blurry.

If not the best.
Every day without a 1.8.1-version seems like a torture)
Keep up the good work, Ovo.

Curse PremiumEndermen are griefers coded into the game.
