Good luck ! :smile.gif:
I've done the stone bricks, will do the mossy and cracked variants, then try a new glowstone texture because the old one really annoys me.
Just to say, your pack has been the pack of choice for my two sons all summer and when they've had their mates round for a Minecraft session. The lads have their machines next to mine, so your awesome pack torments me each day with it's beauty!
I must remain faithful to steampunk, but the beauty of Rustic cries out to me daily! :dry.gif:
I can't wait to see the new blocks with your texture pack. Hey Ovo, is there going to be a pre-release version? Everything I design(visually) is based in your texture back. Your texture back should be the standard.
Also, I just noticed you put me up on your first post. I am surprized you couldn't find more that use your Texture pack. I want to see if a buddy of mine, GenerikB, will do a Texture pack review for you. He is on vacation right now but will be back in 2 weeks.

Huh, I feel embarassed ! ^^'
Do you try reproduce what you like in other's packs ? Personally I've been constantly stealing good techniques and ideas from other packs : Dokucraft for the colors, pixel precision ; yours for the huge quantity of small details and lots of imagination ; XSSheep's for the soft color palette and some specific textures ; many others for some specific stuff...

Thanks again.
Considering the fair number of new textures in 1.8, I won't be done before it's really out. I may post an unfinished version tonight though, because I don't know if I'll have time for doing anything next week.
There are certainly more youtubers that I could put on my list. Though I only put those who are quite active and who have used my pack recently in most of their videos.
As for your friend doing a review, as there are already dozens of reviews of my pack out there, he should better spend his time playing, or reviewing a less known pack. :wink.gif:
when i choose this texture pack i first only see the background and then i get a blackscreen. I have used it with no problems but i reinstalled minecraft and now it doesn't work. I have no mods installed and used the minecraft hd patcher. And downloaded it again to make sure its not that the file got corrupted.

I'll consider it when I have posted the pack to minecraftcustomizer.net, it would then make more sense for me to spend time on doing alternates.
Heh, I'm constantly looking at the way other pack's are made and making things in that style or with that colour palette, etc. (eg. my RPG variant from your pack, I basically remade yours in 16x res for a few of the textures)
Anywho, mushrooms are proving to be very difficult (mostly the fleshy underside, it's quite difficult to make due to the way it tiles) but I'll probably get some pictures of how they are coming along up tomorrow. Also, once I've done the mushy textures if there's nothing else you want help with then I could always make some of the alts that your fans are requesting? It's good tablet practice for me! :biggrin.gif:

For sure ! There's the lantern-glowstone, the white-joints-bricks...
Can't wait to see what you've done with the mushrooms !
ovo, I may be able to update your chests to the 1.8 pre stage. If I am succesfull could I then send you on the file? I don't want any credit or anything. Just a ty :biggrin.gif:
Why not if you feel like it ! It will let me more time for the actually new ones. Beware that the new textures are slightly reduced in size, so it won't be as easy as it seems at first sight to get something clean.
You should really upload this pack to MinecraftCustomizer, as some guy already uploaded it as a "test" (the pack is called Test31490 by JustTheDigger. The pack is not public, but nonetheless all textures can be browsed, I guess because of some bug. But they are visible, and that's the bad point.)
PS: This pack is really awesome, I actually never even tried 64x or above, as all other high-res packs simply don't fit into minecraft's blocky world, but your's does. The only other 64x pack that has some nice looking textures is the albion pack, whose bedrock I use as netherrack.

I am quite curious how you are going to do the new textures for chests. I made my own texturepack for me and a few friends and have been hitting my head against a wall eversince i saw the 3d lock part of it because i am using your chests and have no idea how to edit them so that they will still look good. (i hope you don't mind me using some parts of your texturepack in mine since i don't officially distribute it)

Wow, I gotta say, this is the first texture pack I actually like! It looks really nice. I'm an especially big fan of the lapiz lazuli block! :smile.gif:
With that said, I have some suggestions/questions for you!
1. Could you tone down the detail on the smooth stone texture? It just seems a little too intricate to be a stone wall. Could you go for something like this? I made this real quick by taking your texture, scaling it up 2x, cropping it, making it seamless then tweaking the sharpness and brightness/contrast:
The original:
2. Along those lines, could you do the same with the cobblestone? This one could be just me, since my house is like 90% cobblestone, but it just seems like there are too many stones per block.
3. Could you make an alternate creeper-styled pumpkin? :biggrin.gif:
4. Could you make an alternate netherrack texture that's less pig intestines and more red rocks or maybe just skulls?
5. Maybe turn up the saturation for the glowstone a bit? And could you make it... pop as much as that lapiz lazuli block does?
The original:
That's all I can think of for now. Keep up the good work man!
EDIT: Are the sun and moon supposed to be diagonal? Can you do a version with a square moon and sun? And are the beds supposed to have brown pillows? Also, could you make gold and diamond ores more... stuffed?

I love that texture. The only things that i dont like are:
the diagonal sun/moon,
stone. Can u make it cleaner?
lightstone, but only for decoration. In "nature" looks good.
Is it going to work better as a street lamp?
Also, hurray you're back mostly :biggrin.gif:
Probably not

Aww. Could you make an alternate? Maybe something like the alternate glass, just with glowstone interior?
