My friend just added an rpg mod to his server and I really wanted to get a good texture pack. When I found this I was amazed. I went from feeling like im playing 3D super mario (nothing wrong with that) to going into a medieval fantasy, which is exactly what I am looking for. Good job Ovo, you just made my day. And please do armour textures, I look funny with default armour and an awesome sword. :biggrin.gif:

I'm still getting the hang of using a tablet for texturing (and HD textures in general) but I think I'm getting a little better. When I make some textures I'll just post them up here so you guys can use them if you deem them worthy. :smile.gif:

I was actually going for the 'black powder' look, but I will make another filled with sticks too so you can have a choice.
Looks very well done, similar quality level to Ovo's, but a little too realistic. Ovo has a higher contrast in most giving it somewhere between realistic and cartoon, giving everything the feeling like you are living in a painting, which is Why I Love it so much.
Also, I would say more red on top. Of all things that are supposed to blend in, TNT isn't one of them. It should stand out some. Needs a bit more color on the sides too. Just a little.
My favorite TNT is the one in the one from Dokucraft. It looks like the box on the sides, with bands around the wood (like a barrel) and on top it looks like 16 sticks of bright red dynamite packed in there with the fuses running together. If you want the black powder look, maybe red wrapping around a black center core or something on each stick.
Just a thought, but TNT isn't gunpowder or black powder. It is that, mixed with sand, according to the Minecraft recipe. It should look different than the ITEM gunpowder.

Ok, those are some great points, I'll work on fixing that up and yes, I'll add some actual sticks of TNT with some fuses coiled out the top. I'll also fiddle with the contrasting a little to see if I can make it a bit more similar to Ovo's textures. Once I've done the TNT then it's on to the cake! (or whatever else isn't finished, I'm not really picky... I'm just doing this for the practice and so I can support Ovo's pack while he is busy with work)
So this pack wont get support for 1.8? Thats a shame i loved it so much :sad.gif:
Well it might not OFFICIALLY for a little while, but I might do some textures for it since it is a big change from 16x res and I enjoy doing it. It will get official support when Ovo gets back from his job though! (he doesn't get internet until he gets back)

Been using this pack for the longest time and would never use any other.
I won't be active in september either.
