Well, that's not entirely true, either.
Haven't you seen bricks all over the plce that are not red? How do you think they are made?
If that were true, pottery made from grey clay would all be red. That's obviously not the case.
I agree that raw clay in the game doesn't need to match color with the bricks, but the reasons are not as important. Personally, I prefer red clay because it stands out when I'm clay hunting. Grey clay is easier to overlook.

I kind of like that though. If everything was super easy to find, the excitement would be gone. Catching a glimpse of clay is still one of the greatest moments in MC for me :tongue.gif:

This is a great pack! My only complaint is the iron doors - they look too fancy. I think of Iron Doors as doors to jails or high security areas. Otherwise, this texture is great!
I don't care (much) about realism. I just think reddish clay adds some nice color to the world (and makes a nice building material as an alternative to dirt or bricks or whatever).

Look at my avatar. A few of you may know what this is from. Most will not. Probably because it shut down several years ago. But those were fun times while they lasted.
I'm new at the forum, but I want to express my congratulations to you about your texture pack.
I think that is the better pack you can find in Internet, my friends (and I) love it and use it in our MPserver as a official texture pack!
We have played with your textures since v.0.9, but we have updated them yesterday and I have got a surprise (In bad sense). :sad.gif:
Well, but not everything can be good, I observed that in the last update you have changed the texture of the leafs, and It seems now as if the wind blows the leafs towards the left side... I don't like at all.
I don't want to offend you, I love your work, really it's the best!
I only wanted you to know about the leaf's texture is... so strange, it's not bad, but is strange.
And I apologize about my English, I'm from Spain and I'm learning you language, sorry if I've committed a mistake.
Thanks again for your work
The old leaves are in the Alternates folder in the pack just so you know.
- Hand painted!
- Close to the original textures so that what you see is similar to what others see with the base textures.
- Blocks 97% done. Some items and mobs.
- Wild Grass compatible (except no custom design for biome red flowers)
- Libre! (licence)
Mandatory: Patch your game with the MCPatcher. If you don't, your game will crash when using these 64x64 textures.
If you don't like having to patch, vote here.

This texture pack is amazing!
my favorite one so far. but can you edit the "inventory"
you know, give it a bit more color then the default.
i think that will be cool. :biggrin.gif:
Great stuff. Really like this texture pack. I was using Misa's pack for a long time now. Only thing bothering me is the item.png in the gui folder. So many of those things are still default and just breaks the flow of the pack. to fix the issue I deleted the ones you didn't change yet and changed them with the misa one. I also changed your mob folder for Misa's and man what a difference.
You might actually want to use Misa's Mobs the pack uses the same license as you, and i seen many packs use Misa's mobs they really do look good. Just a suggestion to save you work and time.
Anyway great texture pack so far can't wait to see the final version.
This is the best 64x Texture pack in my opinion and is the main inspiration for the texture pack I have started. if you'd like you can check it out and let me know what you think. I'm trying to keep a Rustic yet smooth feel to it and you seem to be a good judge of that.
