Now that I have used this for a while I'm totally in love with this pack. It's almost perfect for me, even in WIP-state.
There is one little (big for me, though) thing that I would like to suggest. Make the side grass longer in grass blocks. It makes grassy hills look much, much better in my opinion. I made a 2 minutes copy-paste excample to show you what I mean:
Please. It would look cool, wouldn't it? (don't mind the quality off my excample, I just copied your top grass texture into the side)
You can achieve the same effect by ticking the Better Grass option when applying the patcher. The game will then apply the top grass texture to the sides of dirt blocks on gentle slopes.
I LOVE your pack, however a few key components for me are missing. Until you get those installed, I am going to have to pass by on this one. But I LOVE everything done so far.
Red clay would hurt the immersion, because clay is suppose to be gray until it's goes into the furnace.
That depends entirely on where you live.

"Depending on the content of the soil, clay can appear in various colors, from a dull gray to a deep orange-red."
Clay in the Southeastern US (and many other places) is indeed that reddish color.
I'm amazed that some people know so little about the world around them sometimes. Every time I see a thread about clay being the "wrong" color, or trees that "look like coal" I die a little inside.

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."

I completely agree Headhunter. Your statement also applies to the color of iron in game.
Ovo has an alternate that is most resemblant of the actual color of iron, red.
With that said if you do research the color of iron can also be described as a greyish color or even green.

Minecraft 1.7 compatibility release
New:
- Piston (or whatever it will be called)
Yes, that is all.
I'll be on that seasonal job without internet for multiple weeks. So... to be continued.
Thanks everyone, have a good summer start !
Your inventory looks like the one Misa use; it's realistic, but not rustic...
Also, tomorrow will be released Beta 1.7.2 (bugfix)

Curse Premium+1 definitely! Red clay would be much more attractive!
I hope you're having a nice time harvesting, Ovo :smile.gif:
I HATE SIGNATURE RESTRICTIONS >
Dude! It's been updated!
The piston that is, all of the items are still in the works...
The only difference between 1.1 and 1.2 are the pistons :tongue.gif:
This pack looks amazing, it's truly a work of art.
I'm having a bit of a problem. When I drop this in my texture pack folder -
it just crashes my game. I can't even start it up.
Just curious.
Is the pack done yet/Is it usable ?
sorry! this is my first time installing a texture pack, finally got bored of the old (default) skin.
Thanks a bunch - Fishertoy.
You need modpatcher.
Also, a lot of the textures are still default. Could this be improved?
XD
i found another texture pack (kidz) that
had the hd patcher and now i am going to
install this one :]
finally got around to seeing the post.
:] thanks for all the help once again!!!!
