I had to sign up to the forums just to tell you that I love this pack. I hope you continue doing the whole hand drawn thing, it really makes this texture pack stand out from others. The chicken and the iron door have to be my favorites thus far. Keep up the great work!

If only the forum registration process were like the steps to install a texture pack...

I usually dislike texture packs over 32x.. but this seems to be an exception. Its simply beautiful! Kudos to you! I might even start using this as my main texture pack...
Any new teaser pictures?!
I would volunteer to test the new versions of this pack ;D
Nothing worth showing sorry, I only did a couple of items. I'll release v0.9.1 as soon as I've made the new trapdoor, shrubs, and the HD patch is updated.
what do i need to do if my game crashed at launch becuz i was so stupid not to see it at the instructions some1 help me plox
Patch with the HD patcher fix thing. If you have updated your game to 1.6, you'll have to wait for the patcher to be updated to work with this version.
alrigth so i started over and i downloaded the patcher and the pack and now it works and its a prette cool pack if you ask me sorry for my stupid comments btw do i need to run the patcher everytime i start minecraft or is it just for switching packs?
you won't need to run the patcher again until you update or replace the minecraft.jar file
I'm amazed. This the the first 64x64 pack that I actually like. Normally they're all... too detailed? This is perfect. The less saturated colors you used give it an amazing look.
Sorry guys, the semblance of life I have takes a bit over the free time I would otherwise devote to these textures, lately. Which isn't a bad thing for me, all in all. Anyway, you know I still have a donate button and the ability to do this as my job if I get enough funds. Sincerely, I hate speaking of money again, but I'd really love to progress faster on this pack, which requires me to work on it in my work time, and I don't get why so many people told me they "can't wait for it to be completed!" and so few made the effort to pay me for this to happen.
Actually don't bother donating after reading this, you won't be numerous enough, but thanks for the intention. :smile.gif:
Perhaps if I present this in a different way... like one of these Kickstarter projects ? I'll think a bit about it.
hey guy this is the new version of my specular . is it better ?
-snip pictures-
I still think it's too shiny. The tree trunks and leaves, the cactus and sand... they shouldn't really be reflective I think.
The nether looks pretty great though! Especially the glowstone.
see the sand on top of the cobblestone building... see how the spec makes the border between each block really obvious? I don't know if I'm explaining it very well, but I don't think it should be like that. It looks, kind of weird.
But please keep it up! I can't wait to have bump and specular for this pack :smile.gif:

Perhaps, I'd like to do a more glass-like, less metal-like glowstone. And more in the style of my latest textures (softer).
@ ElGozz & MrAsymo, thanks for the compliments !

Except in special cases like this, I don't think I'll bother uploading dev versions.
Also, your name "Ovo" is in my name, "Ab Ovo Ad Astra." Hi-five.
When can we expect the next update for this texture pack? Or at least a rough estimate? Just curious
Thanks!
Ok back to playing!
High Five!
But since you have not updated it for 1.6, I have found myself searching for something new :sad.gif:
PLEASE update your awesome texture pack! This will be greatly appreciated by many of your fans!

The proper update for 1.6 will be within 48h I hope.
I had the same bug with Misa's pack so it's HD related. I doubt the HD patcher crew can fix this but you can always report it in their thread.
