You'd like to be on the first post ? I didn't do this because 1) myself I don't care to be cited when I donate to someone, I even prefer not to, 2) For some donors I only have their real name which I can't make public for privacy concerns 3) It's gonna take too much room after some time. But I don't know, maybe I should.

It's on purpose, I like it that way ! :smile.gif: If you don't, you can simply delete the /terrain/ folder that's inside the ZIP. It contains the rotated sun and moon textures.

I've resumed work on the textures today. Finished the minecart and the arrow, and starting the tools. Release date unsure..

Making them look more imbedded, I get it. Yes it would surely be an improvement ! I've added this to the ToDo list.

This will be the third of fourth time I've said this, but I absolutely love this pack. You are doing a fantastic job Ovo, keep it up! I think you should put the terrain.png of your pack in the original post, just so people can see how every block looks.

Yep, I will do this when all blocks are changed.

Looks real nice dude, does have a bit of a rustic feel.

I know I said this earlier in page 7 or somethin', but I am still using this pack. This is amazing, well done Ovo.

Bah, I like it that way, people just have to like it too. ^^ What do you mean by "natural looking", actually ? Since it's a crafted block, it's not so absurd for it to look like a big polished lapis gem.



The items will be very simple like that for the moment. I don't know if it's gonna be the final style.

Can you make textures for the tools?

I used your Texture Pack for the base of mine. Maybe have a look at it: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=349298

This is the most complained about thing, It shouldn't be too long now before I feel motivated enough to change it. :smile.gif:

Version 0.9 !

New:
- Minecart
- Arrow
- Iron / diamond / gold swords and tools
- Chicken (more like a rooster-duck-chicken mix
- Egg

Slightly changed:
- Wood, less redish
- Obsidian, more purple



Next release may contain : boat, stone tools / sword, some other items, sheep. I should take the time to do one of your suggestions, too.

I just had to comment on the sheer awesomeness of this pack! I am kind of a texture pack junkie and this is my favorite so far! The lil creepy faces in the wildgrass and the chicken texture, the cobblestone and and omigosh so much win :biggrin.gif:

This texture pack is amazing, and I am so happy that you are keeping us updated on all the new features that are being added.

One question I do have (sorry if it's obvious, I'm a noob with computers =P):

When I was using this texture pack, I noticed that when it was raining and I was walking around, everything was noticeably slower (laggy?). Is this something to do with the texture pack or my computer?

That will simply be because the game has to draw 4x as many pixels per face of every block, so a slight drop in performance is understandable, especially when it's drawing all those raindrops too.

It's actually 8x as many pixels, but that certainly makes the game run a hell of alot slower.
