This pack is just getting better and better. I love the wool blocks and how everything blends so well. Also the lava is great, it looks like its actually bubbling.

JohnSmith did the lava and water. I fear to do these animations myself. :smile.gif:

Thats OK, his texture pack used to be my favorite, until I saw your amazing work. Do you think you could do an alternate of the Pumpkin, where it has a Creeper's face when in Jack 'o Lantern form?

You;ve got a good inspiration, then. JohnSmith's stuff is my favorite 32x pack since discovering it. Your pack and his have that same sort of rustic, hand-painted feel that makes playing MC "cozier" than other packs. It's a good blend of detail without going "Realistic" or too far to the other end, like some fantasy packs.

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
All I have to say is I hate this texture pack... because when I went to see how something looked on the normal pack, my eyes started bugging out looking for more pixels.
It's truly amazing! For those of you that use BetterGlass, here's a link to a set I made for it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5477051/Minecra ... rGlass.zip
Here's what it looks like:
It's a little clear, but hey, it looks awesome!

Perhaps, but I guess you'd want the pixelated face? The actual creeper's texture I'll do will be scary, not squary.

It's what I'm trying to achieve : a little bit of magic, a little bit realistic but taking into account that the 3D models are far from realistic. :smile.gif:
Thanks for sharing. I'll try to think of doing it in a future version.

normally i only use the default texture pack. this is the first one i really could imagine to use
but there are a few things i dislike:
1. the dirt block (these bobble things)
2. the glass looks to clean without these "sun reflection" like in the default texture pack
3. the fire animation is to slow
4. the rail tracks are to pretty (dont know how to describe it better with my bad english)
Being that picky, you like the default textures ? Hehe.
1. I will not do a alternate dirt before a long time, but it's half planned
2. I want to do an version of glass with reflections. When I've setup a customizer it should be one of the first extra texture I do.
3. It's default the animation. I plan to change it in a far future
4. I understand what you say, I might do a more realistic and rustic version.
So I've thouroughly checked Flying Sheep's texture pack customizer and I won't be using it for multiple reasons, the main one being that I want my customizer to deliver a ready-to-use ZIP, not just an image that you'd have to manually put in the zip. I'm going to code one myself, Ã la painterly pack. It's obviously gonna take longer...
I'm on planetminecraft.com now.
Already in the eight most popular packs showcased in the big slideshow on top of lists, yepee ! ^^

Ovo, I was thinking you could change your yellow flower. Maybe make it bigger, or a new kind of plant? And perhaps making a single brown mushroom? Maybe in alternates.
Love the texture pack! I had been in the market for a new one for a while, and I saw this one while looking up minecraft horror on youtube:
Got to say I love everything about this pack, no complaints, and I can't wait until you get the rest done, like the weapons and such, but still love it, especially the my favorite block!
Seriously, this is by far the most gorgeous texture pack of all!!! (and I have started my own...)
Excellent work!
Keep it up.
Come on guys! DONATE! All these hours spent on this surely deserve financial support!

I plan to change the yellow flower. Not the mushrooms atm.

Soooo, whens the Customizer coming?
Remember, you need at least 3 terrain.png to make a good customizer. Wait till he's actually done with the first one lol.
It's coming "not soon". But I'm not waiting to have more material, I have enough alternate textures to make a customizer useful.

I made a review of this texture pack
hope you like!
Really good review, thank you ! I may (or may not) promote it to the OP, I suppose you're ok with this ? :smile.gif:
PS: Is it due to insufficient PC capabilities that you didn't activate smooth lighting and fancy graphics ?
PPS: You said you saw similarities in gravel and bookshelf with textures from other packs but I assure you they were done from scratch. The wooden door and lapis ore are the only exceptions, they're based on photographs. Oh and the diamond & gold blocks, based on the default textures.

Thank you, and everyone else for the positive comments !
As for donations, I must say I'm surprised by the really small number I've received, considering how many people posted "I can't wait to see this pack completed!" in this thread. Do people actually wait for it to be completed before considering donating ? or is it simply that people only give their money when they are forced to ? If 1/10 of the people who download my pack donated 2 dollars now, I could work full time on it the whole of july instead of the apricot picking I'm going to do.

Hi Ovo!
Just thought I should tell you that I love this pack so much, I'm going to be going with the same sort of style for my RPG variant of my Sheep pack! (albeit in 16x res :tongue.gif:)
Thanks for making such an inspirational, and all round AWESOME pack! :biggrin.gif:
