Thanks HeadH and Dapper for the art files. Mixcraft's has a many of copyrighted material in it so... no. While yours HeadHunter, I prefer the base ones that have at least some relation to Minecraft and gaming, if not to the 'rustic' imaginary theme of my pack.
Ok guys, forget about it, you won't find what I'm looking for. :wink.gif:

Hey ovo, I really love this pack. Could I maybe use it as a base for a mix up of texture packs? I wouldn't be taking credit at all. I just really love your textures and I know of some others that greatly compliment your work. Maybe I could even help advertise your pack? ^.^ Thanks -Hawke
Yes you can, your approach seems ethical. Send me the link to your mix when it's done, I'd be interested to see !

While I respect you may be RL friends with Ovo (if that's true)
We don't know each other at all, saying that I'm your friend was a bit fast HeadHunter ! ^^ I really value your help to the community (and me) though.

Does your Texture Pack support the whole Wildgrass mod or just a part of it?
Complete support as far as I know.

I love this pack, but it laggs my client like a mad dog. Any way I can make it run smoother?
windows 7 64 bit
intel i3 2.27GHz
4GB RAM
Intel HD graphics
EDIT: the game runs well if I enable the f3 thing where it has the memory info and a huge graph. weird.
I have no idea !

And back to the texture pack...
How's the next update coming along? :biggrin.gif:
Achieved to fight back procrastination lately so there's been some real progress. Roughly painted the iron, gold, diamond and lapis lazuli blocks yesterday. I'll post what's done saturday.

I think I understand what you're looking for. I've seen some Minecraft-related art packs, and every now and then there's one that might be good - like a Mona Lisa with blocky head and body, that sort of thing? I wonder if there are enough such pictures out there to do a pack. I'll keep my eyes open.

I'm not sure how he took it to imply that we know each other in real life when we are oceans apart, but I consider you and many of our fellow guild members to be friends on the forum. I mean, we're not going to be going out for a beer (unless you happen to be in Buffalo), but I hope you know what I meant.

Probably your biggest bottleneck there is the graphics card. It's actually an onbaord chip that uses the system RAM as VRAM. Shared memory means less RAM to run the application itself and the background tasks. As to how you can make it run better with that configuration, I don't really know. If there was a way to dedicate a certain portion of the RAM to video only, then you might be able to assign a certain amount, as well as managing your Java heap. But that's a bit beyond my experience.

Your texture pack has reawakened Minecraft for me. Just the right amount of brightness, not too pixelated, and the little creeper faces in my wildgrass just make me smile - and look over my shoulder a couple times... they're always down in those little ravines... Anyway, it's beautiful! I can't wait for it to be finished!
Also, I think when people ask about the full compatibility with the wildgrass mod they're refering to the new vine and wildflower additions. Your pack isn't fully compatible; my mini cacti flowers just showed up as the default roses anyway.
This game simply hates Intel integrated graphics. I still can't get it to run decently on my laptop, despite it being able to render Counter-Strike Source at 50 fps just fine.
Intel GFX means you don' have GFX hardware, intel is **** and they never have anything for specs, your lucky if you get 64mb ram and 128mhs clock and of course that's with no shader support usually or stream processors, it's just for watching movies and surfing the web.
Posting again to just ask what's the lowest I could get on a not new persay, but better proccessor than my.pentium 4! From what I heard talking around it must be a fairly old processor and the only way I run Minecraft was gettting a new graphics card when the Spore was at its craze prime. I don't have much money working birthday money(no one heard of allowances?) and still want enough left over for the recording equipment I plan to buy.
Thanks~Anti
Great work here! This is definitely a texture to keep an eye on. I love the chests, doors, and workbenches! As far as how you could improve what you've already done, I find the gravel seems a bit chunkier than I like. Other than that, I love this pack! Keep up the good work!
I strongly suggest an alternate Iron Ore texture, because in a real life environment iron ore would be the orange color that it is in Minecraft. Some people(myself included) would love to see a more true-to-life iron ore texture.
This pack really looks promising. I really love the organic, hand-painted style (It's almost tribal in parts too!). It's one of the few packs I've been playing with lately aside from my own. I really can't wait to see it finished. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, though I'd avoid reference to RL art if I could.

Put the zip itself into your texturepacks folder. To navigate to this folder, launch Minecraft > Mods and Texture Packs > Open texture pack folder.

Your right Iris, I forgot this ! The rose flower doesn't have a custom look for desert and jungle biomes yet.

I want a GUI sir, please update that first :tongue.gif:
I'd like too but it seems that the priority for most people is the tools. What I think I'll do next : boat and minecart, cow and sheep, tools. Then I might start the interface.
