What's the best way of getting the grass sides to work in different biomes? Is there something I can do?
Edit: I made the side grass transparent and it works. Pretty easy fix, but maybe include a grass fix version?
A side grass fix version should be as simple as erasing the grass pixels. It won't look perfectly good because, once again, semi-transparency is out of the equation, which will result in a flat looking grass poorly blending with the dirt. Wether it's better than the normal one, or than the 'bettergrass' style you did, is a question of tastes.
Anyway, yes, I'll make a side grass fix version, as an alternate version.

Could you possibly make a 32x version of this? I can run 16x, and 32x without any lag, but anything bigger makes minecraft unplayable and I must say, these textures are BEAUTIFUL. I love them so much. They look so amazing in game. I just wish I could use them. =/
Sorry but I prefer spending the time it would require on completing the 64x pack. :\

I really like all the changes, though I will say that although the "silverish" iron is better then it was before it's still a bit of a bother for me because it blends into the color of the rock too easily for me. if it were a bit brighter, maybe more white and less grey I think it would be a bit better.
I'm color blind remember, so I have a hard time with colors and shades that are not in contrast to each other.
I'll make it brighter, no problem. I have a tendency to make rather sublte changes so if it's still not enough contrasted next time, don't hesitate to tell me again.

Do you how made this town, or where I could dl it?
I didn't make it. You can visit it on the French server subcraft.fr (this is the adress). When in game, type "/warp cité" (there's an acute accent on the e) to get teleported to the town.

Er... between two and six months ? Very hard to estimate but there's still a lot to do and it takes me a lot of time to paint everything by the hand. I'm probably also quite slow at it due to lack of experience and excess of perfectionism. ^^
@AishaLove:
Indeed !

Thank You ! I'm Probably Being Optimistic :smile.gif:
AishaLove, forgot to answer about the staggered planks. Are you speaking about the alternate version I put in the last update ? I too prefer it but it looks bad on stairs. I think Bordercraft did it quite well though, I'll check again how he did it.

Honestly, I don't think the mobs really NEED to be updated. Of course, I'd love to see them done in this style, but the current mobs blend in well with the look and feel of this texture pack. In my opinion anyway.
I used a noise filter only on the classic textures, that I'm using as placeholders so that they look a little less out of place next to the HD textures.
Well no, that's not true, I also use that filter on some textures I paint to give them some grain. But that's inherent in my 'rustic' style and I don't have a no-grain version.

First off, I love this texture :biggrin.gif:
Second, I don't know if you made the wood planks texture, but either way KEEP IT.
Finnally, when making mobs, please make the wolves cute :biggrin.gif:
Thanks :tongue.gif:
Love this texture pack, very rustic :wink.gif: and it's also awesome that you're making it on ubuntu/gimp :biggrin.gif:
Thanks for this and keep up the great work :tongue.gif:

A bit, perhaps, though I'll keep them quite dark.
Really makes me feel confident the funds are going to the right place.
you has $5
Also I looked at v5 I like the staggered planks, I actually prefer staggered textures like planks and blocks overall so they mesh well together.
Hope to see this finished soon, your doing all the new items and the wolves right?
I like to finish things I start, especially when there is people counting on me, so you can expect me to finish all items, mobs, interface.
