I've been trying to get my edited Grass design for a texture pack I'm working on to come out in the correct colors but it fails every time and ends up being the default Minecraft colors...

Anyone know how I can get it to display properly?

I've tried editing the grass icon itself, adding the grass as a standalone file, editing the grass colors file... none of it has granted any results...

You have to change the grasscolor.png file in the misc folder to change the colour of the grass.

It doesn't work...

You have to put it into minecraft.jar directly I think, either manually or with Xau's patcher.
