Heya my fellow Minecrafters. I decided to set out on the adventure of creating a texture pack thinking it would be an easy deal... It was easy until I decided it would be necessary to edit items, mobs, and everything else too.
Currently Compatible with: 1.5
I present for your use: MinimalCraft
I just finished it up, so there may be some issues hidden in there. Let me know if you find anything or have suggestions =D
I also suggest using Notch's smooth light with this texture pack. Looks better in my opinion but up to you =D
Apr 19
Added Achievement window
Added the new rails
Added the new saplings
Changed grass to work with new system
Apr 10

Thanks all for the kind words =D. I spent a long time on this over the past few days. My plan is now that I have a base setup of my own to keep working on it and updating with the patches for sure and randomly if inspiration strikes or suggestions come about.
I SUPPORT THESE...

In my opinion, creating a texture pack is not "an easy deal", or at least it shouldn't be. I recommend coming up with an interesting new design for the chests and bookcase, so they're not just simplified versions of the default texture pack. That way, your pack will stand out among the many other simple packs.

Chests, bookcases, and workbenches are my least favorite in the pack right now. They will be ones to work on for sure =)
Although that pack has been getting... "back there" in the forums so another one would be nice, plus, this definitely has its differences. I must commend you on this pack, it's simplistic but it still has shading and gradients! Nice job. This is normally where I would give you diamonds but instead I'll just +1! :wink.gif:
EDIT: Oh, well, ummm... Rather old thread isn't it?
