Homygod, I love Warhammer. I'm an avid fan of the books and not the video games (weird eh?), so I would love to see how this turns out. The only suggestions I would have is to use a photo of a 'War Engine' from the book 'Titanicus' by Dan Abnet. Frigging epic.

Why not make a texture pack for all the races? That way anyone can choose their favorite.
Like an all-encompassing single pack, or one for each of them? one for each would take quite a while, and i'm not sure how to incorporate all the distinct styles of the different races into one pack. i think i'll add a poll or something.
I think this may be better as an HD pack, but only 32x32, since my computer can't really handle much more than that. I would also take longer to make. What do you guys think?
if this does become a 32x pack i would like some volunteers to help, especially for the mobs. Does anyone know any programs that allow you to reskin mobs directly onto a 3D model?
Mmmm I did a stint of WAR a while back. I fell into the MMo as well, that was a great game. Anyone here know Rienuaa of Iron Rock?

It to am a big fan of warhammer, i would make my own texture pack, but to much of a learning curve for me, so it seems.
That's what I thought, but once you get a bit of practice it is much less daunting. UPDATE: finished imperial guard armor (leather) and all weapons except the gold sword.I may need to adjust the angle of the bolter (bow).
