Texture Pack Folder Missing

So, i downloaded a new texture pack and wanted to install it but
i cant find the minecraft texture pack folder on the application,
let alone find the folder for minecraft. Im not sure where to look :sad.gif:

Windows: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks
OSX: /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/minecraft/

On windows you may have to set the system to show hidden files and folders in the folder settings within the control panel.
