I've been wanting to make a texture pack, but sometimes i cant tell what's what with the texture packs I've got. So if anyone can post a link to a download for the original Minecraft texture pack that would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean its illegal to distribute it? I mean, i have a default texture pack when i go into minecraft, but when i open up the .minecraft file its not in the texturepack folder.
