Ofcourse. Its impossible to do it without redrawing properly.
But usefull if you have to fill 64x texturepacks with placeholders from the original textures for example :wink.gif:
(And mostly a good way to create lower res versions of Super High only packets. i.e. 128 or 256 while your pc can only compute half of it in a decent speed or to merge your favourite 128x textures with 64x. You'll loose detail ofcourse, but a good way if thr author didnt create a fitting resolution.
mh, strange. Worked fine here on my testsystems. Currently no clue why this box did not appear.
Your screenshot looked like you're using another skin. CAn you try to switch to a XP default skin, just for testing?
Whoops, for some reason the Video in the Mainpost was cut off(half of it is lost).
I reuploaded the video in its full length and exchanged the Video in mainpost.
The grid you see is created by the cheap Stretch algorythm delphi uses(by using the Windows api) and does not affect the saved picture.
Resetting doesnt work? mh ok i'll look at the zoom reset
Just tried the latest version and both the grid when zooming out (-) on larger textures still exists as does the Zoom counter not resetting if one loads a new image even though the zoom level is actually reset to 1. The second one is just a label bug and based on your response the first is likely not fixable.
I know the first issue doesn't affect the saved files it just makes working with larger textures harder. Could it be possible to make it so that the program could be maximized and have both sample window areas expand proportionally. Thus when working with those larger texture packs the need to Zoom - (out) would be lessened and thus not see that grid effect? zooming in (+) does not generate that grid effect, only zooming out (-) to see more of the image file which is pretty much necessary when working with larger (128x and 256x) texture packs. Either zooming out or a lot of scrolling. The grid just limits the usefulness of zooming out as you can't really see what the textures look like till you zoom back in.
The alpha channel artifacts are fixed though which is quite nice. Overall this is a very good app which I get much use from.
Thank you.
I just made a username so I could reply to this. First off, your app is very usefull and i like it!!
So I noticed that the width of your program is 1310 pixels which for a 1280 resolution user becomes a tad difficult. It's not a major inconvenience but does take away from the "awwwww" effect of the program.
I was thinking perhaps in a future version you could add some sort of thing in TileMaster where when it loads it detects screen resolution and if it is too long for the screen that the right hand side (list, Load, Remove, Tools) section could be moved below, underneath both the two grids. OR perhaps just add that as an option under the file menu.
Another thing I think would make this app extremely amazing would be if you could manually define the grid perameters for each grid. That'd open up the use of this program to sooooo many more games and other uses and as someone who regularly edits graphics it would become my new favorite tool.
Anyways, just suggestions, don't mean to bash the program or anything, I think it's great and you did a wikkid job on it!
Thought you read the description^^.
You can work with different Texturesizes.
So i.e. you can copy a 64x tile to a 32x and vice versa.

WINE allows you to run native Windows binaries in MAc/Linux environments.

Do you have problems with installing wine?
Just in case, this might help:
Tutorial
Seems for macs, you can only install wine with such a apckage manager o.O.
If you have any further questions, just ask me.
