Interesting that GLSL actually does work. I'll have to try out Zekocraft with it. But, just a request, can you make a Modloader wildgrass version of Zekocraft? With the wildGrass folder in the .zip, rather than on the terrain.png? The Modloader terrain always screws up textures for me, such redstone having a Emancipation Grid background.
I posted the Zeko wildGrass modloader textures 12 days ago. I read to day that wildgrass was working on some kind of modloader texture problem. Here is the link for the textures in modloader seperate folder form. http://www.mediafire.com/?r9a7oax2h1n4pv5
Thanks! Sorry for not noticing or anything...
Edit: Wildgrass Modloader Terrain version was just fixed. Hooray, now i can use more of my texture packs with wildgrass!

Hola, I lurve your pack and I'm trying to download it... but the mediafire link just gets me this little animated loading thing that doesn't change or turn into a download link:

Make sure you have all your web browser plugins that block code turned off. Like Adblockers and script blockers. I personally use Firefox with a plug in called NoScript. I have to temporarily turn NoScript off to allow for downloads.
I just tried again and it worked, no idea why it wasn't before. Maybe mediafire was having a problem or something. Oh well, I have the pack now so I'm happy!
Just wanted to say I love this pack. I was using one of my own creation for the longest time, but this with a few other tweaks has completely blown new life into Minecraft for me. However, the bottom HUD is just a touch too busy for me as well.. But I had an idea for something less busy that would fit the theme nicely, I feel. The style of MH3's HUD elements might work well. Wood themes with tribal style carvings and cartoony designs. Would tone down the HUD to make it a lot less eyestrainy and more inviting without changing the whole pack's feel.
Got no pictures of it, sadly.. But I do have a few of your pack in use. One or two of them particularly make for nice desktops.
Sadly, it did some automatic resizing based on filesize. All original files were 1920x1080. First, the desktop I use, and the rest various other pictures.. Feel free to steal them for the OP if you'd like. :tongue.gif:

Nice cel shader pic.
Yea that damn HUD. It Has grown on me for now, but i like you brought it up when i first discovered the pack. Looked a bit different too. Zekey had some really nice tribal texture as a concept piece, but instead chose to go with what is there now. Maybe the next time he is on the forums he can tell us more. I cant seem to find that link to the tribal concept. It is quite elusive.
I just want to say the way you presented this texture pack sets the standard. The video was brilliant. LOADS of screens. This is how it should be done. Great texture pack too! :tongue.gif:
OH HELLO THREAD I DIDNT SEE YOU THERE
Sorry guys I've been so busy being social and getting hot chicks all over me that I've just been too gosh darn busy to update the texture pack.
I kid of course.
I would not allow the allure of real life "friendship" to distract me from my important duties of reskinning a game about punching 16-bit cubes in the face.
In reality I have been swamped with work.
I've actually been very busy making and animating the intro for the official Mass Effect 3 website (which isnt online yet but will be soon). No I'm not kidding. That is a thing that actually happened. Yes I was just as surprised as you might be! A huge company like Bioware contacting lil ol me out of the blue. I'm still shocked and humbled!
Also my wisdom tooth shattered which has also taken up some of my time and has not been fixed yet. Boy I sure hope I don't lose my jaw.
SO
Other than all the above stuff and my usual bouts of playing TF2 and Call of Pripyat Complete over the last few weeks, I have had no free time.
But now I do. Thus an update was in order.
But before I post the update I would like to give a BIG FAT THANKS to Lost Kingpin who has not only been a fantastic supporter of this pack, but also managed to sober me up enough to include a whole big bunch of mod support.
Here is his big fat thanks:
THANKS
Look how big and fat that thanks is!
Also Lost Kingpin is making a mod that adds colorful carnivorous fishies to the game.
I already added support to it to my pack.
I expect each and every one of you to download and install this mod. I swear to ****ing god if you dont I will come to your house and slap you with my sweaty lovehandles while you sleep.
Alright anyway enough of my usual prattling on.
What does this update contain?
MAY 09 Update aka "How Stella got her Update Back"
- there is now less red grass and more orange and yellow and teal grass. I had way too much red because I have the motor-skills of a blindfolded infant when it comes to painting.
- Trees now come in more colors. Expect to see teal trees, pink cherry blossom trees, and even a few blue trees.
- redid all the GLSL shader support in the pack because some **** was just too damn shiny: () cobble is now alot less shiny and oily looking
() stone now is less shiny but also sparkles a bit when light catches it
() the screwed-on corners of half-stone blocks no longer GLOW BRIGHT WHITE as if Odin himself were trying to escape from the screws.
() Furnaces no longer have a BRIGHT WHITE STRIPE right on the mouth.
() Ladders and beds no longer warp wildly around like some strange fractal desktop wallpaper.
() Redid how chests illuminate
() redid how lightstone illuminates
() toned down netherrack a bunch because for being rocks from Hell they sure were delightfully shiny
() Fixed an ugly blotch on obsidian
() Fixed how bricks illuminate
()fixed the top of music blocks being way too white
- Zombie Pigmen now have moving eyes. When they turn their heads, their eyes move.
- Zombies faces now also have some "depth" to them
- Included mod support for BetterGlass
- Included mod support for Fossils
- Included mod support for Coral Reefs
- Included mod support for the Modloader version of Wildgrass
- Included mod support for Pistons
- I also toned down the main GUI a bunch. It's less brightly colored and more transparent. I actually think it looks quite nice now, whereas before I wasn't satisfied with it. Doubt I'll change it again.
There you go. In other news I seem to have fixed my blackscreening problem. For the last couple of weeks I've been able to play with GLSL shaders, bloom shaders, graphics set to "fancy" and my render distance set to "far" and have not had one blackscreen. Hooray!
And that is all for now.
Future possibilities: MORE mod support. maybe a better version of the paintings now that I know they dont need to be a certain size.
LK has made a great mod, has he not? :smile.gif:
You did a great job texturing it too! (it has a lot of character, unlike the icy cold eyes of the mo' creatures pack) Heh.
Your friendly nieghborhood Kingpin here...
Awww. I feel all warm and squishy from reading the last posts. You guys might be insane, But you guys are the best. I know i already told you this Zekey, but those new 'supported mod' textures are really something.
Holy insane mother of we're in SPACE, awesome profile pic/avatar you got there.
Edit/Note: Why does everyone else's GLSL stuff look better than mine? Every bumpmapped texture pack i see looks better in screens and videos. =\ I heard something somewhere about ATI GPUs having something to do with it.

I'm in love with it. For once the world finally looks less stale and uniform.
chill out
