Although I am a fan of the more realistic texture packs, I like you and you are very funny. Thanks for a quick laugh and a good short story of your troubles. Good luck.
Ah, it looks wonderful! The only thing I must complain about on this pack is the eyes of the creeper, they are way too close to the edges of its face.
However, all in all, I love this pack
I bet y'all thought I forgot about this thread. I bet y'all thought I'd never update again. I bet y'all thought I was dead.
Y'ALL WAS INCORRECT.
1.3 is upon us. It's not much, but hey I'll take it.
Best part: a new ore to mine.
For a game based around mining they sure dont add much to mine with these updates eh? I don't care we got emeralds now. Finally a new shiny thing to hoarde that has no real value!
This forum autosaves my **** as I write? TECHNOLOGY.
So what have I been up to, some of you are no doubt wondering. The answer is basically nothing.
I got addicted to a game called Krater and made a new cartoon:
Alright.
Let us cut to the chase.
EMMEROWDS. And emerald ore. And emerald cube.
I also redid the ruby sprite. Not sure what Jeb will do with the rubies but I don't care. I WANT MORE THINGS TO FIND IN ROCKS JEB. MORE THINGS.
Ender chest and tripwires.
the gui when you trade with villagers
all the new stairs
Here is what book pages look like:
Coacoa things!
All the various precious stones lumped together.
And now you may be thinking
WHERE IS THIS DOWNLOAD LINKING?
I'm sure a scant few of you were possibly pondering the possibilities of my poufant presentlessness.
Well you see: stuff.
Secondly I've actually been working on a minecraft-related thing.
It's not done yet. And the kickstarter for it failed miserably (as we figured it would).
However, work has continued steadfast on the next minecraft cartoon by me and will.
Here's some random footage:
SO ANYWAY Minecraft updated recently eh? Figures I should update it eh?
Well I did, eh.
Here's the new Witchypoo. AW MAN WE'S GONNA GET STUCK IN M-M-M-MAD MIRROR LAND!
Anvils? Potted plants? Item frame? Yep. But why is a pumpkin there? (i'll explain below. big things are happening.)
My personal favorite new features are the heads and item frames. Finally I can make SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE. get_a_load_of_this_heretic.jpg
The beacon menu. Now with 20% more moon crystal power. Yeah thats right I crammed 2 bad jokes based off little girl cartoons into one sentence. WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT? YEAH, S'WHAT I THOUGHT.
Walls probably just revolutionized how things are build in this game and nobody even realized it.
Also a nether star.
How can you tell a Wither Skeleton from a normal skeleton? A normal skeleton doesnt have a SECOND SKULL for a ribcage.
Ah! The man himself! Monteque P. Wither, happy to see the world and grace it with his divine presence and he floats about shooting anything that moves with projectile explosives.
The beacon is beaconing.
I am so happy we have new plants you guys have no idea.
Best new mob? Best new mob.
SO
You may have noticed from these images that the sky looks different.
Well I am proud to announce after many hours of frustration....ZEKOCRAFT NOW SUPPORTS BETTER SKIES.
BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!
Zekocraft now has: animated diamonds! (gasp!) animated jack o' lanterns! (WHOA!) animated ovens! (dear lord in heaven!) and animated torches! (!)
Yes, old zekey has been burning some midnight damn oil tonight and HE IS NONE TOO PLEASED.
I feel like a bowl of hot buttered ass right now.
Anyway uh, where was I
oh yeah the pack.
Also I'm adding a donation button here and at the original post. If you're feeling generous toss me a nickel or two and help me have to work less so I can add more to this texture pack. (Like TEKKIT. I know you guys want it.)
Right so there won't be Tekkit support after all.
After installing tekkit I found theres now 2 texture pack folders, I have no idea what files I need to include. Theres now 3 seperate Minecraft.jar files and none of them have folders that I need.
Theres now a tekkit folder and if I dig hard enough I can find a massive list of .zip files. I'm not exactly sure where these are supposed to go in my .zip folder.
See when you combine my zip with the normal minecraft.jar it sort of injects the new files on top of the old ones. This is how MCpatcher has always worked. It's simple and anyone can figure it out. I'm not sure how texture pack authors are meant to figure Tekkit out. Which I guess explains why the list of up-to-date compatible packs is so short because I can only assume that it's a convoluted mess.
Theres now three folders.
Minecraft (containing what I assume is the classic game)
Nitrous (containing absolutely nothing)
Tekkit
Tekkit folder has 2 different .jar files. Neither have extra folders or files. But if I dig hard enough I find a folder called MODS and in there are a bunch of .zip files containing the .png's I need to edit to make my texture pack compatible. However, at this point I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing here.
Do I put that mods folder into my texture pack .zip? Do I put all the 40+ .zip files from the mods folder right into my texture pack.zip? Do I need to make a Tekkit folder in my texture pack and just copy all this stuff over?
I don't know. I'm currently going through what few up to date texture packs I can find to see if I can make sense of this convoluted mess of bullcrap. However most packs that support tekkit also seem to support 90+ other mods that are not included with tekkit. Meaning that if I want to be sure I'm doing this right I'm going to have to spot-check between the list in the .zip and all the .zip's in my appdata folders on windows to make sure im not making .png's that wont be used.
I mean....really? Really? Why is making a compatible texture pack for a mod always such a pain in the ****. I don't get paid for this and I make this pack for fun.
I see no way to efficiently make this pack run with tekkit without spending at least a week sorting through the 4 million folders that contain .zip files that came with Tekkit.
Meaning you, yes you reading this, if you want Tekkit/Technic support with this texture pack then you'd better tell me how to do it.
Because I can't figure it out after several hours and I'm pretty much done.
But I know nobody will. Oh well. Less work for me.

edit:
Feed the Beast was recommended to me but has the same problems.
I've basically given up now.
Unless someone has some divine guidance I have officially stopped giving a damn.
So much works, so little time ;_; So much works, so little time ;_; wehhhh
However, all in all, I love this pack

Why its right here:
BOOM
enjoy.
I would love to see you add more mod support for it. (I basically download any mod themed by this pack, hehe.)
Keep up the spectacular work!
This has been one of my favourites for months and am thrilled you continue to update it! Looking forward to seeing your renditions of the 1.4 blocks!
It reminds me of a mix of some of the aztec-ish packs that used to be around, with the swirly patterns, and stylistic smooth packs in general.
If only it were in higher resolutions!
I think I need rehab after using this pack.
10/10, 5 stars, A+, 4 stars!
Yer muscles are none compared to his!
YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS, SON.

HERE IS THE LINK TO THE NEW ZEKOCRAFT PACK WITH ALL THE NEW STUFF. PLEASE TO BE ENJOYING IT MUCHLY.
Just good ol' MCPATCHER.
If you arent using it yet, you should! I'm willing to bet like 99.9% of texture packs use it! Maybe even more than that!
