This is an amazing ass texture pack, i think its one of my favorites. I am also a ***** for texture packs, i have over 60 installed! I think you need to update this to 1.2.5, that would be awesome!

A few things of mild importance have occurred in the last month and a half. Occurrences that I have not concurred with. THIS HAS BEEN RECTIFIED TODAY.
Golem!
Now with damaged left arm and damaged right leg. Still under warranty good for 300,000 miles at least. Warranty invalid with resale.
Making alternatives for these guys with RandomMobs should be pretty easy. I'll work on that for the next update.
I like the way they slowly stumble around.
Theres now alot more varieties of wood.

Aaaahhhhh Zeke alksdfjsldrgj. Dat everything. You are my favorite. I can't decide if the jungle planks or the dotted sandstone is the best. Maybe the iron golem. Oh man oh man I can't wait to see all your alternate iron golems. DIAMOND HUGS for this update.
Another update today.
Large and Small chests should have less flickering on their textures now.
Also I edited one of the new wood textures.
Particularly the darker wood planks. Before they were basically dual tone stripes. But they looked too much like dirt to me.
So I made them look a bit like thatch wood with some water damage.
They look much better now and still sync up with 2 of the 4 other wood panels including the original. Only the treated lighter hardwood doesnt match which I didn't really want it to anyway!
This is my favorite non-vanilla texture pack. A friend recommended it to me a while back, and I just love how adorable it looks! I just wish it had textures for Redpower, that'd be absolutely amazing!

I've been seriously considering it.
I looked up some videos on what the Redpower mod does a week ago and darn near crapped myself.
Probably the most impressive mod I've ever seen. Sadly I do not have the required engineering intellect to understand how to use any of it.
People are making big moving gundams that shoot tnt with it. And big mobile tank-houses that crawl across the landscape. It's got infinite brilliant possibilities.
Speaking of mods I decided to play around with the Dynamic Shaders mod today. The one that got the internet all up in a tizzy since it added real dynamic shadows to the game.
I adore it thus far.
But I've run into a small problem. The mod claims it "requires" Optifine. It runs "ok" with a vanilla jar file but water and other pseudo-transparent textures get covered in weird visual noise. Plus alot of the shadows have weird artifacts.
Installing Optifine fixed these issues but Optifine also turned off RandomMobs. And no tooling around in the options could fix it. No matter which of the 2 most recent non-beta versions of Optifine I used. RandomMobs is probably my most favorite mod ever and I'd rather not play at all then play without it. And if I have to make the choice between fancy shaders or randommobs....well suffice to say I'm picking mobs.
I'm sure theres a way to have both at once. Have the cake and eat it too. However as with most mods, the beginning post (for the shaders AND optifine) has very little in the way of troubleshooting or tweaking and is overall vague so all I can really do is sigh whistfully and install a clean .jar file again.
That said, for those blessed few who already play the game with these shaders you'll be happy to know Zekocraft looks PRETTY DAMN GOOD with them on.
So, if anyone knows how to get Optifine, Dynamic Shadows, and RandomMobs all working at the same time without flickering chunks of land in the background or flickering water I would be eternally grateful!
Man, this texture pack is amazing. I think everyone gets so caught up in "s00pur r34li1st1c grafixx" that they overlook the beauty of simpler things. I've gone through a lot of texture packs, but I'm yet to find anything that looks as nice as this, and I doubt I ever will. Great job.

Not entirely true, mostly because twilight forest is amazing with this one.
If I didn't already find an epic texturepack that is associated with my favorite game, this would DEFINITELY be my only favorite texturepack. I will recommend this to my friends.
