Add some gradient to your colors, don't stick with one flat color to represent something, like those grey lines you have for the ore/stone. Add some lighter and darker grey tones to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
I love this texture pack! Oh and about what that person was saying about adding noise i dont think it needs it i love the orginial:). If you can send me the blocks you have done though or the terrain.png i can add some noise and see what you think of it
