Current Status = Version b0.8, Almost Finished the terrain.png file, then the rest
Hey guys, I saw all the packs on here, and really enjoyed a few, but I thought to myself "Hey, I'm a pixel artist, why don't I try and make my own" This is what I have so far...
(do not go into the nether yet, Slowstone, netherrock and glowstone haven't been done yet)
Heh, So it does, Well, mine is 16x16 and has quite a few differences to it. Thanks for pointing it out, i'll try and work on some more things to distinguish it.
Well, I'm just saying.. You should probably should at least mention his pack as a source of inspiration.
The grass, the trees, the wood (especially the wood), the general color scheme (ores, chests, ladder, jukebox) are all obviously inspired (if not taken) from his pack. Being a pixel artist you probably know you don't want to just base your work off of other people's work without crediting them.

Honestly, I didn't even touch his pack until you posted that. there are a lot of differences, but the colours are very different(well as different as they'd be for minecraft). On top of that the key diffences are the bench/furnace, the ore and well... pretty much everything except the wood planks and Grass, which is heavily influenced by Kenneth Fejer's pixel art... I'm assuming the guy for that is either him or also a fan of his work.
Ah i see. Odd coincidence haha. You would see why I would have thought that though. The colors for most of the textures are identical. You both should have probably mentioned you were inspired by that game (if its a game) haha

Note this picture is a tad out of date.

On an unrelated note, Wow, the grass is exactly the same :/
(http://www.kennethfejer.com/pixelmockup.html Link to Kenneth Fejer's site for what i used for reference)
And yeah, there is almost no doubt in my mind that he also was inspired by him... or IS him.
