Is the weird side-grass texture I am seeing in all my texture packs except default Minecraft's fault, or is it just my computer? (it seems to be a metal block's side texture in green for most of them...)
edit: Just realized; with this one it looks like crying obsidian, I think.
These sound effects do not include the voices/sound from cut scenes. They also do not include background music. But let me know if you want those too.
The arm##r folders have sounds for megaman's special weapons. (different folder for for each weapon)
I think the st* folders have sounds for each room/stage in the game. So if you find a folder with reaver bot sounds, it probably also has mechanical ruins sounds (sliding, air-lock doors?), ect..
I noticed that in some cases my winamp would not play some of these wavs. But all of the ones that I have tried are able to be opened in audacity.
There they are! Thanks, Joel. Soon as semester's over I've got a lot to take care of, these sounds included.
Ooooookay, semester's over and I've drowned myself in games for a week to clean out my brain. Time to attack this thing. Expect a complete 1.5 update by the end of the week! I'll also be working on sound mods -- if they work, they work; and if not, they don't; and if they get done in time for the 1.5 pack update, they'll be included. In other words, we'll see how it all goes down. Textures'll be fixed for sure though.
All right, version 1.2 is done, and so is version 1.0 of the SFX Pack! I'm sure my fellow Legends fans will thoroughly enjoy the cave ambience now, not to mention the Mega Buster sounds.

Man, the sounds just really added that extra immersion to the texture pack. I was so enthralled today killing chickens and the likes and hearing the buster gun blast and creepers exploding in that Legends fashion. Fantastic update!
Hey guys, absolutely ADORING this texture pack i use it almost exclusively but have yet to test the sound mod, have u changed the footstep sounds? that would make me nostalgia so hard lol
Hey guys. I don't really participate in the forums, given I usually have nothing to say, but I wanted to make an account and pop in here just to let you know just how much I LOVE this texture pack. And that includes the sound mod.
On that note though, I wanted to ask. For the creepers, instead of them doing the hissing sound followed by a Legends 1 reaverbot explosion sound (at least, I think), why not give it the same explosion sound effects as THIS reaverbot? Granted, it's from Legends 2, so someone would have to get the sound effects from that game first, but I just wanted to toss in my two cents, since the creepers essentially work the same exact way as those reaverbots. (They only attack by exploding, and they wait to explode until they're right up in your face.)

I'd have used so many sounds from Legends 2 if I had the sounds available to me -- glass and ice would have been given CAlbania Ruins's ice-breaking effect, for instance. If I had Miitan's SFX I'd certainly use them.
On another note, I've been playing Terraria a lot more than Minecraft lately, but don't think I won't update this pack for 1.6!
Version 1.3 is done -- I didn't bother altering the in-hand map graphics, as I couldn't think of a suitable alternative. Anyone with any ideas, feel free to speak up!

I haven't visited this topic in a long time. I've been withstanding hours of black mountains with green tops. :tongue.gif:
So, Glad you finally came back and fixed all of these! Glad all my work and some others finally came back to working. If there's anything else that you'd like help with. Oh, by the way, there's another sound effect Creepers can use, those golden bats with reaverbot eyes in the Lake sub-gate.
EDIT: Noticed you forgot to/decided not to use my ancient digging tool/I forgot to upload it as a replacement for a bones. I've uploaded them here. You don't have to put it in the front page, just try to use it for the next update. Or, anyone else who wants the bones.
I'm guessing I just change out each sound file by hand, and will do so unless someone tells me there is a more effecient way to do it.
EDIT: By hand meaning go into the spots where the sounds are located, drag all of that file into the minecraft file and make it move and replace all. Not dragging each little file.
EDIT2: I'm surprised you didn't use http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25316120/007-file.WB.002.wav for doors.

There's always just dragging the entire "resources" folder into your minecraft folder and telling your computer to merge all folders, copy and replace.
And I didn't edit the door sound because I'd need two sounds, one for opening and one for closing, and doors don't support that.
Something weird I noticed while running around in the ground. The music seems to play like out of a record player, in that there ia a range for how far it travels from the point it started playing. Is that always there and I just noticed it cuz the MML sound tracks last longer or what?

Fact.

I'm not sure; could be you're just noticing it because of the increased length but I don't really know.
Lern it's not the record playing. It's cave sounds. The sounds Trigger gives us include different songs for the cave sounds. Also when they start up my game freezes for half a second. I'm guessing it's also due to the size of the songs. But any shorter and you don't even get the full tune.

Them, too. They work just like record players. Once a player gets within a certain length of an empty 3x3x3 area covered entirely by cobblestone, the center block plays a tune to lure/fear/scare/hypnotise/surprise the unexpecting player. This is why Dungeons can easily be found this way- They're 7x7x7, so that at any given point, 4 cave tunes- 3x3x3 blocks from the ceiling- can play. Of course, cave tunes won't often play, and once you've gone by a cave, it's more often than not- not going to play. So that whilst it's possible for this to happen, seeing as the odds of one playing ever is only rare, all 4 playing at once... It'd make you wish herobrine was real.

Awesome! :biggrin.gif:
theres only 2 things i could think of that could make this texture pack better though.
1. the shovel arm is a little boring compared to the other tools and would look heaps better if made into an excavation arm like this -> http://image.shutterstock.com/display_pic_with_logo/202399/202399,1243787823,3/stock-photo-excavator-arm-31267585.jpg
2. if the pigs had its own higher def skin to look like the muddy pig on calbania island -> http://www.legends-station.com/mml2/development/pigs/003.jpg
apart from that the texture pack is perfect, cannot wait for future version :biggrin.gif:
