Has anyone seen Pchan3's airship and pirate mod? I'm having trouble getting it working but I'd love to see it in this texture. They seem perfect for each other.
I'm well aware that beta 1.4 has been released; however, given my current situation, it's unlikely that I'll have time to update the pack for the new content anytime within the month of April (my college semester ends the first week of May, after that I'll finally have some free time). This includes the Dark Armor replacement for the Chain Mail.
If anyone cares to submit ideas or even finished products for reskinning the Wolf, Cookie, and Cocoa Bean, I'd appreciate it. Most food replacements I've used so far were taken from the MoTB items on Sprites Inc. The Wolf is anyone's guess, although it had crossed my mind to use Paprika from Legends 1...
Hey, trigger, if you want me to, I can try editing the wolf from MML1's textures into the new wolf reaverbot, and maybe change the tamed wolf's textures- if it's any different excluding head having ribbon and white/black eyes, to paprika?
Oh, and icons for the dark armor, because I have no idea how to make transparent backgrounds, so that icons wouldn't work well if I edit the items file and fit it in.
This is, of course, our chainmail!
EDIT: Better idea for wolves- The textures change for each form, wild, tamed, provoked, right? Well, MML1 has 3 different colors for the wolf- Red, Gray, Purple. Seeing as I'm an impatient *****, I'm going to try doing it myself, but here's what I'd like to do, MMT- Make red the provoked skin, Gray the wild skin, and purple- Tamed!
Wish me luck! This is gonna be much harder than recoloring the armor or making a humanoid's skin!
PPS EDIT: I actually put a little effort into it and VOILA, I present those of you who're impatient, a chainmail items.png and a relink to the chain_1 and chain_2! I've also begun work on our wolves and it's coming out okay so far! Oh, and I was thinking, MMT, didn't you need 3 keys in the wolf chamber? Maybe turn the bones needed to tame wolves into the key's icon? I'm willing to do this if you're busy.
For those of you who're less experienced; Save the images as items, chain_1, chain_2 respectively, and place chain_1 and _2 in the armor directory of blockman dash v1.1, replacing the old versions, and placing the items in the gui folder, again, replacing the original. I am working on wolves as we speak, but this might take some time as I'm not an experienced texturist (Did I make up a word?). The reason I'm not turning this into a pack of it's own is because I'm working on cookies and wolves until/unless MMT takes over. Of course, I'm only doing him a favor, and none of the works- excluding the chainmail objects, as of now- are mine.
I'd rather see Paprika as the wolf. I'm just not a great fan of turning Minecraft's tame/peaceful animals into Reaverbots, which are violent and mean. Making the monsters into Reaverbots makes plenty of sense to me, but Reaverbotizing the animals makes me a little uncomfortable. I know that leads to a somewhat uncomplete pack, but if it's just the animals, so what?
I would agree, but you must remember wolves are actually wild, and mobs. They can be TAMED, but unlike other friendly animals, aren't farm animals in any way and thus aren't really 'nice'. Also paprika is a small dog. We're talking large wolves. D:

Pareechee, do remember that not all Reaverbots are hostile.
lern, if you want to try to hybridize the hostile Reaverbot and a tame Paprika, I've got no objections -- it'd be an interesting experiment to say the least.
So far, I'm trying to make a non-hybrid version of just the bashes. They seem to fit the wolf so well and are yet incredibly difficult to make, with the fact that their front body is wider, and their ears can be removable. I think I'll completely restart my current version however and first try to design it in a sketch, as I have misunderstood most of the textures till now and created it incorrectly. It would be great to get some help however. Oh, and also, I think Bash only Wolves fit better because of the Tri-color thing; This means that each of the 3 bash colors can fit another wolf phase (Red<-Gray->Purple) (Provoked<-Neutral->Tame).
I would really like to see more kattelox island-based textures, the houses and such are really hard to get right properly. Sure i can recreate dungeons from MML2 pretty well, but everything outside of the ruins looks nothing like the MML world.
Also i dont know if you have plans of changing the lava, but the current one doesn't look anything like the lava in MML2 saul kada ruins, and i REALLY want to recreate that ruin!

You're forgetting there's hardly any variety for building tools; and whichever there are have been texturised to fit.
Hey MMT. Great work on the texture pack, it's all I've used for the past couple of months or so ever since I found it, and I don't see myself changing it anytime soon, the things you've done are just fantastic.

With this new information, what are the odds we'll see the addition of a charged buster shot "animation" (for lack of a better term) or sound of any kind?
I'mma go out on a limb and say the odds of sounds are zip until someone else gets that part. In the original thread there was supposed to be people workin on that and other parts.

Okay, so, er, As some of you may know, The 1.4 update is up to me. Unfortunately, I suck. I'm lazy, procrastinating, and terrible at skinning wolves. These things are a nightmare. I have, however, managed to get the mane, tail, legs, and body- Excluding back/front of both the mane and the body, including the ears being removed, as well as the particle effect of the tamed wolves. These now appear as the green circles from MML2 from the HUD. Originally they would've been reaverbot eyes, as this is Karumina Bash we're talking about, and it's a reaverbot, but that seems less in context as hearts are for tamed, none evil bots. :tongue.gif:
If anyone disagrees, I'll revert it to a reaverbot eye immediately.

ONE, FINAL NOTICE; Most of the effects have NOT been tested, as finding a wolf is hard to do. I do, however, hope, that the particles from wolf/water are different from dripping water. Honestly only effect I've managed to test is the wolf's skin. Also, we still need cookies. Someone know any cookies we can use?

For those not knowing who this mysterious Pinkie pie is, I'll ask him if he wants credit for it or not, because I think 'credit to pinkie pie' sounds much funnier. XD
As for the update? It'll come as soon as I get a cookie(Literally; We need a cookie from MML), and after I fix the sparks and any remaining texture flaws Pie's Wolves had, but it's not his fault at all as he had no idea what it was like. This should come within the next hour or two.
Changes:
-Wolves Karumina Bash added! Fight one of the 3 cerberian wolf reaverbots in the wild, as he switches colors according to his affectionate status towards you.
-What's this deal about Karuminas being able to love? They are no reploids; They are but mere reaverbots! However, your fancy HUD allows you to see your status with them by presenting you with the green circle we all love to/and know floating over them once fed enough Bones!
-Some water droplet effect we currently do not recognize has turned into sparks! This will be fixed if/when we recognize the effect. XD
-Chainmail Dark Armor created! Now don't be an evil boy and hack the game to create those!
Changes may apply if solutions to errors are found.

-Bone being edited to fit the need to tame WolvesKarumina Bash.

If this happens I'll probably fix the tail and shorten it even more, as well as darkening the eyes for tame and lighting them further up for provoked.
