I had this happen once when I would use the Themepack folder, but recently ive been using the HD patcher and replacing the default with my themepack I want to use and I haven't had it happen since, but I do find it strange.
odd. but the only way notch could do something like this is through a update... but i never got it in the past 2 updates :/. so it must be the HD patcher...
So I've played around with it, and I realized some of the other photos seem to be a rainbow if you set them up right. It's kind of odd. Maybe I'll dump some screenshots for you guys.
That would be awesome. These sorts of things always interest me. I haven't been affected, but I'm curious. Maybe if some of these other mystery packs have different words, they form a sentence?

If you look there's a screenshot one day before the 1.3 was released and someone had what seemed to be an updated pack after 1.3 was released. While I do agree remaining skeptic is important, that's a silly notion to rule this out as fake.
What other texture packs or mods do you have? Have you downloaded anything recently?
Painterly Packs (3), Simplecaft and the Creeper pack. I haven't downloaded any of them recently though.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get much more info. But because of this encounter I've started poking my head around some boards and have found screenshots of what seem to be the same pack. ( But I am unsure if they are legitimate or not! )
It's to bad, the person posting screenshots from this pack quit updating his thread, and never put a way for anyone to download the file. It seems a bit over the top though, which makes me somewhat skeptical.
Hmm.. Search in dont.zip and see if theres anything interesting, and if you have the one with letters or know the person who does, search that zip too. There might be a hidden message.
So What Im getting Out of this is a Message *Dont U*
But Maybe what this pack is, is for testing the new lighting system. the words you maybe seeing is part of a message *dont use*????? Maybe just an idea of mine.
But Hey To Warn You, Dont Use the bed for the next week or so. You Can if you want.... I heard from some one or read that Notch May add The Herobrine or Random Character in-game. So What Will Happen is during the night if you use the bed this person supposedly comes in your house and will be standing next to you when you wake up or even wake you up during the night.... :/
Notch said there was a gonna be a secret update. Maybe this is it? He Might Post more once he gets back from GDC :biggrin.gif:
