What's new:
- Side grass (well, a crude beginning. Needs some fixing and such)
- New rail, which actually looks good this time, and powered/detector rail
- New Lava (also just a crude beginning. Trying to find some good pictures of the lava in WW.. The problem is that the lava is not restricted to such small tiles).
- Redstone is looking better than ever
And that's about it.
If ravecat doesn't update his pack soon, should I divert this to my own thread, perhaps? Any interest?
I downloaded both texture packs earlier today, and everything looks gorgeous. I fixed the saplings (which I see are fixed in Fluesopp's most recent version), but the only thing that doesn't work for me (in both texture packs) is the water. It's not the regular Minecraft water or the cell-shaded water, but I'm assuming a hi-def version from the patcher.
Any idea on how to fix this? The water is such a crucial part.

Honestly I'd prefer you didn't, as the large majority of the pack was still my work, and I did put a lot of effort in to ripping and compiling all of these textures.
I really don't mine you using this thread though, and what you're doing is very appreciated. :smile.gif:
Still if you want to make your own thread I'm not going to stop you. The only reason I haven't updated is because I have been busy with work.
Sorry, I don't want to be selfish, if you want to make a thread go ahead.
and you're right, not many of mine are left, but they were certainly a pain in the ass to obtain, and the GUI too, and the mobs. :tongue.gif:
However, you make good points. Go ahead and make a thread if it suits you, as long as you say it's based on mine we're all good.
We can even link to each other.
:smile.gif:
Anyway, I'll have a coffee and get back to work on the 1.5 version.
Diamond tools look absolutely terrible, no offense but it's hard to tell what they even are, have I installed this incorrectly or something because I thought this was 128x, these are horribly pixelated and if they're surpose to resemble something from Zelda, I do not know what it is.
I didn't actually produce the Diamond Tools, but I understand your concern. However, I do not believe in using HD items.
Additionally:
Rain looks quite bad, the particles for rain splashing on the floor are big white circles, is this intended or are snow particles misplaced by mistake? If it's intended, it doesn't look very good at all, walking around with white circles splashing everywhere.
It is indeed a glitch that will be fixed.
That thing i'm holding is a diamond shovel, it looks like it's snowing but its raining, the doors don't look very attractive at all and my wolf is scared of snow rain. (Wolves could be retextured..but from the jobs of all the mobs, i'd prefer it if he looks better by default, I really don't like any of the mobs at all in all honesty).
The mobs are simple, but that's a style choice.
Another thing, there are no particle effects for taming wolves, the love hearts specifically.
Will fix that.
Sorry for the negative replies but atm this is what is stopping me from liking/using this pack.
EDIT: After further playing, another thing I noticed were too many blocks looked the same, obsidian, black wool, various stones.
The numbers do not blend well with certain icons and the green/white background, it is hard to see how much of a item you have because white font is blending in badly.
It's especially better than that xaiwaker one.
I'm excited for the updated version.

Anyway, I counted, and only 16 of your textures are still present in my pack :tongue.gif:
And most of them are just ripped from the game :wink.gif:
But as long as I still use your textures, I'll keep it in this thread.

LoZ: Wind Waker stirs up so many happy memories. :smile.gif:
EDIT: Slight problem though, as of the most recent update (1.5_02) the game crashes whenever I try to place any blocks.
I was using the old version.
Just tried it using the beta version and it's working perfectly now. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, it's Mediafire (I know, I know,) but it's only for when the original apparently isn't working.
